REGULAR MEETING DECEMBER 3. 1973 <br />419 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works convened at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, <br />December 3, 1973 at 9:30 a.m. with Mr. Farrand and Mr. Barcome present. City <br />Attorney James A. Roemer was also present. Minutes of the previous meeting <br />were reviewed and approved. <br />OPENING OF BIDS - BUREAU OF STREETS TRUCK <br />This was the date set for receiving bids for a truck for the Bureau of Streets. <br />The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the South Bend Tribune <br />and the Tri-County News which were found to be sufficient. The following bids <br />were opened and publicly read. <br />Gates Chevrolet Company - The amount of the bid was missing from the bid <br />form. Upon motion made,seconded and carried, the Board rejected the bid and <br />directed the Clerk to re -advertise for bids with bids to be received on <br />December 17, 1973. Mr. Irvin of Gates Chevrolet was present and the bid was <br />returned to him. <br />OPENING OF BIDS - BUREAU OF FIRE APPARATUS <br />�..,I This was the date set for receiving bids for a Pumper, Tanker and Rescue Vehicle <br />r� for the Bureau of Fire. R. Bland for review and recommendation. <br />
