REGULAR MEETING DECEMBER 3. 1973 419 A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works convened at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, December 3, 1973 at 9:30 a.m. with Mr. Farrand and Mr. Barcome present. City Attorney James A. Roemer was also present. Minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and approved. OPENING OF BIDS - BUREAU OF STREETS TRUCK This was the date set for receiving bids for a truck for the Bureau of Streets. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News which were found to be sufficient. The following bids were opened and publicly read. Gates Chevrolet Company - The amount of the bid was missing from the bid form. Upon motion made,seconded and carried, the Board rejected the bid and directed the Clerk to re -advertise for bids with bids to be received on December 17, 1973. Mr. Irvin of Gates Chevrolet was present and the bid was returned to him. OPENING OF BIDS - BUREAU OF FIRE APPARATUS �..,I This was the date set for receiving bids for a Pumper, Tanker and Rescue Vehicle r� for the Bureau of Fire.
