REGULAR MEETING NO VEMBER 26, 1973 APPROVAL OF EXCAVATION BOND FOR FRED SPROMBERG & SON The Board received a recommendation from Ray S. Andrysiak, Division of -Engineer- ing, recommending approval of the Excavation Bond for Fred'Spromberg &`Son to 11/30/74. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the bond was approved to that date. APPROVAL OF PANEL AD ADVERTISING Mrs. Mardella Hensler, Panel -Ads, Inc., requested approval for advertising material from the I & M Electric Company, Terry Horein Builders and Weaver Electric and Heating Services for use on Panel -Ad trash containers. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the advertising. APPROVAL OF TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES The Board received the following recommendations from Clem Hazinski, Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, for traffic control devices: A. No Parking Signs on the West side of Main Street from Bronson to 300' south of Chippewa and on the East side of Main Street from Sherwood to 3001, south of Chippewa. B. No Parking Signs on the West Side of North Main, north 1/2 block and No Parking, Except Sunday 6-6, West Side of 400 North Main, south 1/2 block. C. 30 Minute Parking Limit, 6 to 6, both sides of the east 1/2 block of 200 W. Marion Street, D. No Parking Signs on the East side of 500-N. Michigan, south 1/2 block. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the installations were approved. TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES RETURNED FOR FURTHER STUDY The Board received recommendations from Clem Hazinski, Manager.of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, for removing parking meters and installing no parking signs on the east side of 400 N.'Michigan and on the west side of 300 N. Main Street. Mr. Barcome noted that the Bond Ordinance for the parking garages stipulates that meters removed must be relocated. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board referred these recommendations back to Mr. Hazinski for further study and asked him to make a recommendation for relocating these 20 meters. STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT The Street Light Outage Report for the period of November 12 to November 15 was received and ordered filed. SPECIFICATIONS FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT RESCUE VEHICLE Specifications for the Rescue Vehicle for which the Fire Department has adver- tised for bids were received by the Board and ordered filed.
