REGULAR MEETING <br />NO VEMBER 26, 1973 <br />APPROVAL OF EXCAVATION BOND FOR FRED SPROMBERG & SON <br />The Board received a recommendation from Ray S. Andrysiak, Division of -Engineer- <br />ing, recommending approval of the Excavation Bond for Fred'Spromberg &`Son <br />to 11/30/74. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the bond was approved to <br />that date. <br />APPROVAL OF PANEL AD ADVERTISING <br />Mrs. Mardella Hensler, Panel -Ads, Inc., requested approval for advertising <br />material from the I & M Electric Company, Terry Horein Builders and Weaver <br />Electric and Heating Services for use on Panel -Ad trash containers. Upon <br />motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the advertising. <br />APPROVAL OF TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />The Board received the following recommendations from Clem Hazinski, Manager <br />of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, for traffic control devices: <br />A. No Parking Signs on the West side of Main Street from Bronson to <br />300' south of Chippewa and on the East side of Main Street from <br />Sherwood to 3001, south of Chippewa. <br />B. No Parking Signs on the West Side of North Main, north 1/2 block <br />and No Parking, Except Sunday 6-6, West Side of 400 North Main, <br />south 1/2 block. <br />C. 30 Minute Parking Limit, 6 to 6, both sides of the east 1/2 block <br />of 200 W. Marion Street, <br />D. No Parking Signs on the East side of 500-N. Michigan, south 1/2 block. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the installations were approved. <br />TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES RETURNED FOR FURTHER STUDY <br />The Board received recommendations from Clem Hazinski, Manager.of the Bureau of <br />Traffic and Lighting, for removing parking meters and installing no parking signs <br />on the east side of 400 N.'Michigan and on the west side of 300 N. Main Street. <br />Mr. Barcome noted that the Bond Ordinance for the parking garages stipulates that <br />meters removed must be relocated. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the <br />Board referred these recommendations back to Mr. Hazinski for further study and <br />asked him to make a recommendation for relocating these 20 meters. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT <br />The Street Light Outage Report for the period of November 12 to November 15 was <br />received and ordered filed. <br />SPECIFICATIONS FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT RESCUE VEHICLE <br />Specifications for the Rescue Vehicle for which the Fire Department has adver- <br />tised for bids were received by the Board and ordered filed. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon motion made, <br />seconded and carried, the meeting adjourned at 10:14 a.m. <br />t1n Far d <br />a s V.
