REGULAR MEETING <br />AUGUST 20, 1973 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at 9:30 a.m. on <br />Monday, August 20, 1973 with Mr. Farrand and Mr. Seitz present. Minutes of <br />the previous meeting were reviewed and approved. <br />OPENING OF BIDS - BUREAU OF FIRE UNIFORMS <br />This being the time set for receiving bids for the Bureau of Fire uniforms for <br />the year 1974, the following bids were opened and. publicly read, the Clerk having <br />tendered proofs of publication in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News <br />which were found to be sufficient. <br />GERBER MANUFACTURING COMPANY, INC. <br />Bid was signed by Terry L. Gerber, <br />non -collusion -affidavit was in order <br />and a 10% bid bond accompanied the bid. <br />Mr. Farrand announced°that the bid was in unit prices and would not be read in full, <br />but would be available for inspection by any interested persons.
