40, <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />AUGUST 13, 1973 <br />CHANGE ORDERS IN TOPICS PROJECT T6000(6) <br />The Board received Change Orders in,the Topics.Project T6000(6), the Main Street <br />Viaduct project, Arco Engineering Construction Company, Contractor, as follows: <br />1. Item #18 <br />- Curb <br />Decreased <br />$102.75 <br />2. Items #13 <br />and #13 - Guard Rail <br />Increased <br />$5070.40 <br />3. Item #28 <br />- Painted Line <br />Decreased <br />$991.80 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved and signed the Change <br />Orders. <br />PAYMENT REQUEST NO. 23 - WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT ADDITIONS <br />Payment Request No. 23 from Sollitt Construction Company for work done on the <br />Wastewater Treatment Plant Additions in the amount of $162,074.25 was presented to <br />the Board. Upon motion made, seconded.and carried, the Board approved and signed <br />the payment request. <br />SIGNING OF TITLE SHEET - STREET CONSTRUCTION PLANS - MIAMI STREET, SO. OF IRELAND <br />The Board received the title sheet for plans for street construction, curbs and <br />gutters for a 150 foot street just off Miami Street, South of Ireland Road, at <br />the site of a proposed St. Joseph Bank & Trust Company office. The street will be <br />dedicated to the City. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved <br />and signed the title sheet. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT <br />The Street Light Outage Report for the period of August 1 to August 9, 1973 was <br />received and ordered filed. <br />PARKING LOT AT 117 S. LAFAYETTE BLVD. <br />There was a discussion about parking in the city -owned lot at 117 S. Lafayette <br />Blvd. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board requested that the Legal <br />Department draft an ordinance regulating parking in that lot,_ with,some sort of <br />penalty or sanction against unauthorized parkers. Such an ordinance would be <br />submitted to the Common Council after approval by the Board of Public Works. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon motion made, <br />seconded and carried, the meeting adjourned at 10:45 a.m. <br />Rollin-E.
