REGULAR MEETING <br />MAY 21, 1973 <br />SIGNING OF CONTRACT AND PERFORMANCE BOND - KENSINGTON FARMS SANITARY SEWERS <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board signed the contract and <br />approved the €lerformance Bond for the Kensington Farms Sanitary Sewer Project <br />with Howell Construction Company. <br />COMPLAINTS - VALLEY CABLE VISION <br />The Board received two complaints from citizens received by the Mayor's Action <br />Center regarding tree trimming and use of utility poles by Valley Cable Vision. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board requested that Mr. James Roemer, <br />City Attorney, write to Valley Cable Vision regarding this matter. <br />EAST MILL RACE PROPERTY <br />Mrs. Jean Sharpe, Portage Park Committee, was present and asked what progress <br />had been made in checking the property in the East Mill Race area and researching <br />the lease between the City and Aays Rent -all Company. Mr. Roemer said that he <br />has made a contact to have title to all the property in the area researched and <br />that he hoped to have a report on the lease agreement to make to the Board at <br />r_4 its meeting next week. <br />O <br />t+ CERTIFICATION OF PERSONNEL - WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT <br />Q <br />U <br />Mr. Richardson reported to the Board that he had received a letter from Mr. Louis <br />Rague, Manager, Bureau of Wastewater, that the following people from the South <br />Bend Plant passed Certification exams and advanced their classification: <br />Dave Irwin Class III <br />Vern Forsgren Class II <br />Felix Jasinski Class II <br />Walter Brown Class II <br />The plant now has the following inventory of certified operators: Class IV -3; <br />Class 111 -2; Class II -10; and Class 1 -7. Mr. Rague commended Casimir Rzepnicki <br />and Joe Fedor for conducting the classes and encouraging people to work towards <br />advancement. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board ordered the letter <br />filed. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT <br />The Street Light Outage Report for the period of 5/11/73 to 5/16/73 was received <br />and ordered filed. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon motion made, <br />seconded and carried, the meeting adjourned at 10:15 a.m. <br />i11iam J. 6dwdson <br />(J <br />James V.
