REGULAR MEETING APRIL 2, 1973
The above named trucks are in extremely poor condition and neither could
pass the Indiana Safety Inspection. They are not'used except for once or
twice a year when the vice squad takes them out. It then becomes expensive
because we need to get them in operating condition.
I feel that since we now have the new Van, this equipment could be used
for this purpose. The two trucks do nothing more thn take up needed space.
I have received a high bid of $55.00 each for the two trucks, and would
appreciate acceptance of this bud due to the expense of upkeep of the trucks
and due to the parking facilities at the Municipal Services Facility.
Any cooperation would be appreciated.
Respectfully,
Robert W. Seals, Chief of Police
/s Robert J. Urban
Services Division Chief
e-i Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board authorized the Police Department
O to sell the two trucks.
Q LETTER FROM PAUL T.
