REGULAR MEETING <br />MARCH 26, 1973 <br />Excavation Bond Continuation Certificate <br />for Tuggy Itow d/b/a Ralph Keller Concrete Co, to 12/31/73 <br />Excavation Bond Continuation Certificate <br />for Sollitt Construction Company to 4/2/74 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Continuation Certificates were <br />approved. <br />CONTRACTOR'S AND EXCAVATION BONDS FILED <br />A Contractor's Bond for Leon Yoder Custom Homes, Inc. and an Excavation Bond <br />for Powers Plumbing and Heating Company, Inc. were filed with the Board and <br />referred to the Bureau of Construction for investigation and report. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT FILED <br />The Street Light Outage report for the period of March 15 to March 23, 1973 <br />was received and ordered filed. <br />LETTER RE: INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC SIGNAL-SCOTTSDALE MALL MIAMI ROAD ENTRANCE <br />The Board received the following letter: <br />March 14,1973 <br />Board of Public Works and Safety <br />13th Floor, City -County Building <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Attention: Mr. Wm. J. Richardson <br />Re: Miami Road, South of Ireland Road: Final Site Development Plan <br />for Rezoning Petition #290-72 and Ordinance No. 5483=73 <br />Gentlemen: <br />We would like this letter to serve as written confirmation of the fact <br />that the Petitioners named in the above captioned rezoning petition do <br />hereby agree to pay for the cost of installing a fourth traffic light <br />and the "walk -wait" signals, wiring, etc., required with respect to such <br />fourth traffic light to convert the three-way intersection at the <br />Scottsdale Mall's Miami Road entrance into a four-way intersection which <br />will serve the real estate of the Petitioners described in the above <br />captioned petition. <br />Very truly yours, <br />SOUTHOLD-DOWNS, INC. <br />James F. Burnside Contractor <br />President <br />Mr. Richardson explained that this project has been reviewed by the Transportation <br />Committee and the Curb Cut Committee and made a motion that the proposal be <br />approved. The motion was seconded and carried. <br />
