REGULAR MEETING MARCH 12, 1973
<br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works convened at 9:30 a.m. on Monday,
<br />March 12, 1973 with all members present. Minutes of the last meeting were
<br />reviewed and approved.
<br />HEARING,ON VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3376, 1973
<br />This being the date set, hearing was held on Vacation Resolution No. 3376, 1973
<br />for the vacation of the north -south alley between Meade Street and Fremont Street
<br />running north from Bertrand Street to the south r/w line of the east -west alley
<br />and the north r/w line of the east -west alley to the south r/w line of Roger Street.
<br />The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the South Bend Tribune
<br />and the Tri-County News on the 23rd day of February and the 2nd day of March, 1973.
<br />No remonstrators having appeared and no written remonstrances having been filed,
<br />upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board ratified and confirmed
<br />Vacation Resolution No. 3376, 1973 and said alley is vacated.
<br />The City Engineer is directed to prepare an -assessment roll showing the award
<br />of damages and the assessment of benefits to the surrounding properties.

<br />Streets, a distance of one hundred sixty-five feet.

<br />interested in or affected by such vacation.
