REGULAR MEETING MARCH 12, 1973 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works convened at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, <br />March 12, 1973 with all members present. Minutes of the last meeting were <br />reviewed and approved. <br />HEARING,ON VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3376, 1973 <br />This being the date set, hearing was held on Vacation Resolution No. 3376, 1973 <br />for the vacation of the north -south alley between Meade Street and Fremont Street <br />running north from Bertrand Street to the south r/w line of the east -west alley <br />and the north r/w line of the east -west alley to the south r/w line of Roger Street. <br />The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the South Bend Tribune <br />and the Tri-County News on the 23rd day of February and the 2nd day of March, 1973. <br />No remonstrators having appeared and no written remonstrances having been filed, <br />upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board ratified and confirmed <br />Vacation Resolution No. 3376, 1973 and said alley is vacated. <br />The City Engineer is directed to prepare an -assessment roll showing the award <br />of damages and the assessment of benefits to the surrounding properties. <br />T-4 <br />0 FILING OF ASSESSMENT ROLL - VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3374, 1973 <br />William J. Richardson, City Engineer, files.an,assessment roll showing the <br />U award of damages and the assessment of benefits in Vacation Resolution No.'3374, 1973 <br />V for the vacation of a fourteen foot alley, sometimes known as Hibbard Court, <br />between Washington Street and Jefferson Boulevard, running West from Michigan <br />Street to the East line of the north -south alley between Michigan and Main Streets, <br />a distance of one hundred sixty-five feet. <br />The following property may be injuriously or beneficially affected by -such <br />vacation: <br />Lots 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, <br />South Bend, Indiana. <br />30, 31,32, 33, <br />34, 35 and 36 of the original plat of <br />Total <br />net,benefits <br />$0.00 <br />Total <br />net damages <br />$0.00 <br />Upon motion made, <br />seconded <br />and carried, <br />the Board adopted the Assessment Roll <br />and set 9:30 a.m., <br />April <br />16, 1973, Room <br />1308 of the County -City Building, South <br />Bend, Indiana as <br />the date <br />and place of <br />hearing all persons interested in or <br />affected by such <br />vacation. <br />FILING OF ASSESSMENT ROLL - VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3375, 1973 <br />William J.
