12/26/72 1608-1612 Prairie Avenue This being the date set for receiving bids for the demolition of the structure at 1608-f 12 Prairie Avenue the following bids were opened and read after determin,,wing that the non -collusion affidavits were in proper order: Michiana Builders $885.00 Midwest Demolition 1,035.00 Machinery Supply 1,700.00 O'Neal Trucking Co. 1,975.00 Upon motion made, seconded and carried the award was made to Michiana Builders on their low bid of $885.00. 502-504 Wenger Street This being the date set for receiving bids for the demolition of the structure at 502=504 Wenger Street, the following bids were opened and read, after determining that the non -collusion affidavits were in -4 proper order: B & J Demolition $ 635.00 Q O'Neal Trucking Co. 2,300.00 U Michiana Builders 700.00 Midwest Demolition 1,035.00 Machinery Supply Co. 19800.00 Mr. Edward DeBlase, owner, was present at the meeting, and was agreeable to the demolitibn.. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the award was made to B & J Demolition on its low bid of $635.00. 136 East Keasey Street This being the date set for receiving bids for the demolition of the structure at 136=East Keasey Street, the following bids were opened and read after determining that the non -collusion affidavits were in proper order:' Michiana Builders $545.00 Midwest Demolition 734.00 Machinery Supply Co. 750.00 B & J Demolition 1,685.00 O'Neal Trucking Company 600.00 Upon motion made, seconded and carried the award was made to Michiana Builders on their low bid of $545.00. HEARING ON ASSESSMENT ROLL - VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3371,1972 - DEAN STREET This being the date set for holding a hearing on the assessment roil of Vacation Resolution No. 3371,1972, hearing is now held for the vacation of a portion of Dean Street lying between the West line of the first North - South alley West of Main Street and the West line of Section 24, T37N, R2E. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri County News on December 8, December 15 and December 22, 1972 and same were found to be sufficient. No remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrances having been filed the Board discussed the smatter, and upon motion made, seconded and carried, continued the matter for one week.. The Vacation was adopted on condition the petitioners purchased an adjoining piece of property from the City.
