E <br />r] <br />1 <br />11/13/72 <br />REQUEST TO INSTALL CHRISTMAS TREE - GILBERTS <br />A memo received from the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting recommends <br />the approval of a request from Gilberts to install a Christmas Tree <br />which would extend partly over the public sidewalk. Upon motion made, <br />seconded and carried, the Board accepted the recommendation and granted <br />the request. <br />REQUEST FOR ON STREET PARKING - ST. JOHNS BUSINESS MACHINES <br />A memo was received from the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting wherein <br />they recommend the approval of a request from St. Johns Business <br />Machines, Inc., to park on the street in the 1100 block of Lincoln <br />Way East on November 15 and 16, 1972.for the purpose of provinding <br />parking for an open house. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, <br />the Board accepted the recommendation and granted the request for <br />parking from `9:00 to 11:00 A.M. and from 1:00 P.M. to 3:30 P.M. <br />only. <br />REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR FUEL REQUIREMENTS <br />Mr. William Richardson presented a request to advertise for fuel <br />requirements for the City and upon motion made, seconded and carried, <br />the Clerk was directed to advertise on November 17 and 24 and <br />receive bids on November 27, 1972. <br />REQUEST FOR STREET LIGHT INSTALLATION <br />A letter was received from Walter T. Kol5czynski, Sixth District <br />Councilman, together with a petition containing twenty-nine sig- <br />natures requesting the installation of additional lighting in the <br />500 and 600 blocks of South Gladstone 'Avenue. Upon motion made, <br />seconded and carried this was referred to the Bureau of Traffic <br />and Lighting. <br />CONTINUATION CERTIFICATES FILED <br />Continuation Certificates were approved and ordered filed for Taylor <br />Construction Company from 12/31/72 to 12/31/72;for both Contractor <br />and Excavation bonds. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT <br />Street light outage reports were filed for a period of 11/1/72 to <br />11/9/72. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon motion <br />made, seconded and carried, the meeting was adjourned at 10:15 A.M. <br />ATTEST: <br />,1 <br />A-L't, A <br />Clerk <br />
