65 11/6/72 VACATION�RESOLUTION NO. 3371, 1972 - DEAN STREET - ADOPTED Area Plan Commission having filed with the Board it's favorable recommen- dation for the vacation of a". -portion of Dean Street lying between the West line of the first North -South alley West of Main Street and the West line of Section 24. T37N., R2E, the following Resolution is now adopted: VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3371, 1972 RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, That it is desirable to vacate the following: A portion of Dean Street lying between the West line of the first North -South alley West of Main Street and the West line of Section 24. T37N., R2E Reserving the rights and easements of all Utilities and the Municipal City of South Bend, Indiana, to construct and maintain any facil- ities, including, but not limited to, the following: electric, telephone, gas, water, sewer, surface water control structures and ditches, within the vacated right of way, unless such rights are released by the indi- vidual Utilities. The following property may be injuriously or beneficially affected by such vacation: John E. Walz's Revised Addition Notice of this Resolution shall be published on the 10th day of November and the 17th day of November, 1972, in the South Bend.Tri- bune and in the Tri County News. This Board, at its office, on the 20th day of November, 1972, at 9:30 o'clock, A.M., will hear and receive remonstrances from all per- sons interested in or affected by these proceedings. Noble, -Clerk COMMUNICATION CONCERNING PROPOSED RECONSTRUCTION OF IRONWOOD ROAD A communication was received from Congressman John Brademas relative to a letter from Mrs. L. C. Magyar. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, this was referred to the Bureau of Engineering for investigation and report. LETTER FROM MRS. LONNIE BOTTOMS - CONSTRUCTION IN FRONT OF 612 S. MAIN STREET The following letter was presented to the Board: October 30, 1972 Board of Public Works and Safety Dear Sir: I'm writing you in regard to construction on the street in front of my house. I have an apartment I rent which is part of my income. I haven't been able to rent it since about the mid- dle of August, there is no way to get to the front of 612 South Main Street.
