November 20, 1972 Room 1308, <br />County City Building, South Bend, Indiana, as the date and place <br />for hearing all persons interested in or affected by such vacation. <br />PETITION TO VACATE PORTION OF DEAN STREET - AREA PLAN RECOMMENDATION <br />The area Plan Commission having filed a favorable report on the vac- <br />ation of part of Dean Street, and the matter having been referred to <br />the Engineer for study, now upon motion made, seconded and unanimously <br />carried, the vacation of Dean Street is referred to the Engineering <br />Department for the preparation of a Vacation Resolution, subject to <br />the sale of a piece of property near the West outlet of vacated Jennings <br />Street, and the Clerk is directed to write to Mr. Harold Silberman of <br />the Super Auto Salvage Company so informing him. <br />LETTER TO COMMISSIONERS FROM COUNTY ENGINEER <br />A letter to the County Commissioners, a copy of which was sent to the <br />Board of Public Works and Safety, was read by the Board, wherein the <br />County Engineer requests permission to barricade the intersection of <br />Ewing Avenue and Carlisle Street to prevent access to the Peak School. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried the closing of the intersection <br />of Ewing Avenue and Carlisle Street is approved on a temporary basis. <br />
