10/30/72 Lots 1 to 35 inclusive of Arnold's 1st Addition .Lots 36 to 42 inclusive of Arnold's 1st Addition Notice of this Resolution shall be published on the 3rd day of November and on the lOth day of November, 1972, in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri County News. This Board, at its office, on the 13th day of November, 1972 at 9:30 A.M., will hear and receive remonstrances from all persons interested in or affected by these proceedings. Richardson, City Engineer, files an assessment roll showing the award of damages and the assessment of benefits in Vacation Res- olution No. 3369,1072 for the vacation of certain alleys and a portion of Rose Street and Cushing Street. The following property may be injuriously or beneficially affected by such vacation: Lots 224,225,228, 229 and on the recorded Third Plat to the City of South Bend. City Civil Engineer Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board adopted said Assessment roll and set 9:30 A.M. November 20, 1972 Room 1308, County City Building, South Bend, Indiana, as the date and place for hearing all persons interested in or affected by such vacation. PETITION TO VACATE PORTION OF DEAN STREET - AREA PLAN RECOMMENDATION The area Plan Commission having filed a favorable report on the vac- ation of part of Dean Street, and the matter having been referred to the Engineer for study, now upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the vacation of Dean Street is referred to the Engineering Department for the preparation of a Vacation Resolution, subject to the sale of a piece of property near the West outlet of vacated Jennings Street, and the Clerk is directed to write to Mr. Harold Silberman of the Super Auto Salvage Company so informing him. LETTER TO COMMISSIONERS FROM COUNTY ENGINEER A letter to the County Commissioners, a copy of which was sent to the Board of Public Works and Safety, was read by the Board, wherein the County Engineer requests permission to barricade the intersection of Ewing Avenue and Carlisle Street to prevent access to the Peak School. Upon motion made, seconded and carried the closing of the intersection of Ewing Avenue and Carlisle Street is approved on a temporary basis.
