10/10/72 <br />516 Euclid Avenue Willie Mae Williams appeared before the Board <br />as requested and stated she wished the house taken down. Upon motion, <br />made, seconded and carried, Mr. Steed was authorized to seek bids for <br />the demolition of the structure at 516 Euclid Avenue. <br />4020-Fuerbringer Street Mr. Glen Odom, 212 South Iowa Street, South <br />Bend, Indiana, appeared before the Board as requested. He was informed <br />that there were unpaid taxes on the property, and there were many <br />repairs to be done. He asked for one week's continuance until he has <br />time to consult a lawyer to look into the matter for him. Upon motion <br />made, seconded and carried, the matter was continued for one week. <br />202 East Pennsylvania This matter was continued because there <br />was no indication a certified letter has been -received. <br />2422 West Linden Robert McPhee, 2169 Parkview Place, South Bend, <br />Indiana appeared before the Board as requested and requested a <br />continuance of two weeks until he has a chance to consult with his <br />attorney. Upon motion made, seconded and carried the request was <br />e� granted. <br />Q <br />530 South Fellows Mr. Steed informed the Board that this structure <br />La <br />is being rehabilitated. <br />U <br />1122 East Bissell Upon Mr. Steed's recommendation this matter was <br />continued. <br />1205 Dunham Street Upon Mr. Steed's recommendation this matter <br />was continued one week. _. <br />2507 Linden Avenue Upon motion made, seconded and carried, Mr. <br />Steed was authorized to advertise for bids for the demolition <br />of the structure at 2507 Linden Avenue. <br />2221 Smith Street Mr. Steed informed the Board that no receipt <br />had been received indicating the registered letter informing them <br />to appear before the Board, thereupon the matter was continued. <br />126 Keasey Street This being the date set for receiving bids for <br />the demolition of the structure at 126 Keasey Street, the following <br />bids were opened and read: <br />B & J Demolitiion Company $535.00 <br />O'Neal Trucking Company 500.00 <br />Non Collusion affidavits were found to be in proper order. Upon <br />motion made, seconded and carried, the award was -made to the O"Neal <br />Trucking Company on its low bid of $500.00. <br />VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3369,1972 - PORTION OF ROSE AND CUSHING STREETS <br />Area Plan Commission having filed with the Board it's favorable <br />recommendation for the vacation of certain alleys and a portion of <br />Rose Street and Cushing Street, the following Resolution is now <br />adopted: <br />VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3369,1972 <br />RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY OF THE CITY <br />OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, That it is desirable to vacate the following: <br />Certain alleys and a portion of Rose Street <br />and Cushing Street. <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />
