2 <br />10/2/72 <br />1020 Fuerbringer Street A letter was received from Charles W. <br />Hahn stating that on the 18th of September, 1972.he had deeded <br />the property at 1'020 Fuerbringer Street to Glen Odom, 212 South <br />Iowa Street, South Bend, Indiana, and has no further interest <br />in the matter. The letter was ordered filed. <br />LETTER FROM COUNCILMAN ROGER PARENT - WEEDS ALONG RAILROAD TRACK <br />A letter was received from Councilman Roger Parent complaining <br />about the tall weeds, high bushes and small trees which grow <br />along the railroad tracks fn the vicinity of Leeper Avenue. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the matter was referred <br />to the Bureau of Traffic and lighting. <br />VACATION OF ROSE STREET REACTIVATED <br />The Board, upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, now <br />rescinds its order to strike the proceedings regarding the,vacation <br />of Rose Street from the record, and refers the matter of the orig- <br />inal petition for the vacation of Rose Street to the Engineering <br />Department for the preparation of aVacation Resolution. <br />VACATION OF DEAN STREET BETWEEN MAIN STREET AND ALLEY - SUPER AUTO <br />SALVAGE <br />A letter was received from the Bureau of Engineering stating they <br />have no objection to the vacation of a part of Dean Street. Upon <br />motion made, seconded and carried, the matter is now referred to <br />the Area Plan Commission for recommendation. <br />MORRIC CIVIC AUDITORIUM - CHANGE ORDER AND ADDENDUM <br />Addendum No. I to change the date of receiving bids from October <br />9 to October 10, 1972 was approved by the Board. <br />Change Order G-3 for the Aulm Construction Company was, upon <br />motion made, seconded and carried, approved by the Board in the <br />amount of $1,428.00. <br />LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING - PURCHASE OF PROPERTY BY CITY <br />A letter of understanding entered into by and between the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana, through it's Board of Public Works and Safety <br />and S. E. Kompar, Vice -President and Trust Officer of the First <br />Bank and Trust Company of South Bend, executor of Estate of Estelle <br />C. Cover, deceased, for the purchase by the City of a tract of <br />land between Michigan and Main Streets Southof Chippewa Avenue, <br />for a purchase price of $50,000.00, was, upon motion made, seconded <br />and unanimously carried, approved by the Board. <br />RESOLUTION FOR THE SALE OF REAL ESTATE OWNED BY THE.CITY. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13 - 10/2/72 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF CERTAIN <br />PARCELS OF REAL ESTATE OWNED BY THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH -BEND, INDIANA <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana has compiled a current detailed inventory <br />of all real property owned by the City of South Bend, Indiana, pur- <br />surant to Section 30A-1 of the Municipal Code of the City of South <br />Bend, Indiana; and <br />
