4' 14 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />MARCH 10, 1975 <br />LEASES FOR CITY -OWNED PROPERTY TO ACTION, INC. RECEIVED <br />The Board received Lease Agreements with A.C.T.I.O.N., Inc. for <br />the use of old Fire Station 7, 8 and 10 and a recommendation from <br />Deputy City Attorney Kathleen Cekanski that the leases were reddy <br />for approval. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the leases <br />were referred to James V. Barcome, Director, Administration and <br />Finance for his review and a recommendation. <br />FILING OF ASSESSMENT ROLL - VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3409 1975 <br />Rollin E. Farrand, P. E., City Engineer, files with the Board an <br />Assessment Roll for Vacation Resolution No. 3409, 1975 for the <br />vacation of portions of Donald and Fox Streets, from Columbia east <br />to Fellows and the first east -west alley south of Bowman between <br />Fellows and Rush, and the north -south alley between Fellows and Push <br />Streets from Bowman to the aforesaid east -west alley and a portion of <br />Rush south from Bowman to the first east -west alley, City of South <br />Bend. The following lots may be injuriously or beneficially affected <br />by such vacation: <br />Lots 186 to 195 inclusive in Henry Studebaker Addition, Lots 230 to <br />241 inclusive in Bowman's 6th Addition, Lots 165 to 176 inclusive <br />in Bowman's 5th Addition. <br />The Board finds that each of said lots have been benefited in the <br />amount of,$0.00 and damaged in the amount of $0.00. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board adopted the <br />Assessment Poll and set Monday, April 14, 1975 at 9:30 a.m, as the <br />time and the Board of Public Works Hearing Room as the place where <br />all persons interested in or affected by this vacation may be heard. <br />FILING OF ASSESSMENT ROLL- VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3410 1975 <br />Rollin E. E., City Engineer, files with the Board an <br />Assessment Roll for Vacation Resolution No. 3410, 1975 for the <br />vacation of the east -west alley between Marion Street and Madison <br />Street running east from the first north -south alley east of Michigan <br />Street to the vacated St. Joseph Street, City of South Bend. <br />The following property may be injuriously or beneficially affected <br />by such vacation: <br />Lots 131 and 132, Part of the Original Plat of South Bend. <br />The Board finds that each of said lots have been benefited in the <br />amount of $0.00 and damaged in the amount of $0.00 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board adopted the Assessment <br />Roll and -set Monday, April 14, 1975 at 9:30 a.m, as the time and the <br />Board of Public Works Hearing Room as the place where all persons <br />interested in or affected by such vacation may be heard. <br />REQUEST TO PARK SCHOOL BUSES ON RIVER BEND PLAZA APPROVED <br />The Board received a"request from Louis Wilcox, Director, River <br />Bend Plaza to allow school buses to park on River Bend Plaza on <br />Monday, March 17th from 11:00 to 12:00 noon. The buses will be <br />bringing the LaSalle High School band to the Plaza for a St. <br />Patrick's Day Celebration and they will be parked in the vicinity <br />of the Wyman's Building on the supergraphics area of the plaza. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the request was approved. <br />
