259 REGULAR PTEE T ING FEBRUARY 17, 1975 REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS - OLIVE STREET SEWER RECONSTRUCTION Resolution No. 10, 1974 adopted by the Board of Public Works on May 28, 1974, provided for preliminary plans and design for the reconstruction of the Olive Street Sewer from Delaware Street to Indiana Avenue. The Bureau of Design and Administration submitted a request to the Board that bids be advertised for the project on February 21 and 28 with bids to be received on March 3, 1975. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the request and the Clerk was directed to advertise for bids. There being no further business to come before the Board, upon motion made, seconded and.carried, the meeting adjourned at 10:28 a.m. The meeting reconvened at 10:35 a.m. Mr. Farran.d announced that the second appraisal on the property at 1210 Thomas .Street, No. 4 Fire Station, had just been received and he asked the Board to take action on the following resolution: RESOLUTION NO. 6. 1975 ADOPTED. ORDERING SALE OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY RESOLUTION NO. 6. 1975 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING VALUE FOR A CERTAIN PARCEL OF REAL ESTATE OWNED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AND ORDERING SALE THEREOF WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend has caused a certain parcel of real estate not necessary to the public use to be appraised by two licenses independent appraisers who are freeholders in the City of South'Bend, Indiana, and WHEREAS, the Board has received such appraisals and now, pursuant to Chapter 30A of the Municipal Code of the City of South Bend, Indiana, desires to establish the valuation of said parcel for the purpose of sale; and WHEREAS, the Board now wishes to order said parcel offered for sale and provide for the giving of notice thereof, pursuant to Chapter 30 A of the Municipal Code of the City of South Bend, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: 1. That the Board now establishes valuation for the hereinafter described parcel of real estate for the purpose of offering the sale of the same as follows: Description Valuation Lot Number Forty-eight (48) $7,560.00 in the Commissioner's Subdivision of Bank Out Lots numbered Eighty-five (85) and Eighty-six (86) of the second plat of "Out Lots of the Town, now the City of South Bend, platted by the State Bank of Indiana", and more commonly known as Fire Station No. 4 1210 Thomas Street. 2. The Board shall prepare an offering sheet for said parcel pursuant to ordinance and copies of the offering sheet shall be on file at the Board of Public Works and shall be made available to the public upon request. 1
