<br />RESOLUTION NO 7, 1975 ADOPTED., PORTAGE: AND ELWOOD IMPROVEMENTS
<br />RESOLUTION NO 7, 1975
<br />WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works has found it necessary in the
<br />best interest of the public safety and welfare to construct
<br />certain street improvements at the intersection of Portage
<br />Avenue and Elwood Avenue, and,
<br />WHEREAS, the improvements to the aforesaid streets are compatible
<br />with the Urban Area.Transportation Study, and
<br />WHEREAS, the costs for these certain improvements are to be financed
<br />from the Local Road and Street Account and the Cumulative
<br />Capital Improvement Fund, and
<br />WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works has the authority to make such
<br />improvements as provided by the General Assembly, therefore,
<br />BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Public Works orders the Department
<br />of Public Works to prepare the plans, specifications, cost
<br />estimates, secure the necessary right-of-way, permits,
<br />appropriations, and to seek bids for and to construct said
<br />street improvement at Portage Avenue and Elwood Avenue.

<br />The following resolution was, upon motion made, seconded and carried,
<br />adopted by the Board:

<br />WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works has found it necessary in the

<br />Avenue, Hamilton and Wilbur Street, and
<br />WHEREAS, the improvements to the aforesaid Streets are compatible
<br />with the Urban Area Transportation Study, and
<br />WHEREAS, the Costs for these certain improvements are to be
<br />financed from Federal Aid Urban Funds, the Local Road and
<br />Street Account, and/or the Cumulative Capital Improvement
<br />Fund, and
<br />WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works has the authority to make such
<br />improvements as provided by the General Assembly, therefore
<br />BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Public Works orders the Department
