REGULAR MEETING FEBRUARY 10, 1975 TITLE SHEET APPROVED - OLIVE<S.TREET .SANITARY AND STORM SEWERS The Title Sheet for the plans for the Olive Street Sanitary and Storm Sewer improvememts, from Delaware Street to Indiana Avenue, were submitted to the Board. Mr. Farrand noted that plans for the project sre on file in the Engineering Office. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board signed the title sheet approving the plans. CHANGE ORDER APPROVED, CONSTRUCTION OF FIRE STATION 04 Change Order No. 7 for the Construction of Fire Station #4 was received.from the Muia Construction Company. The Change Order was in the amount of $1,407.00 and was an increase.for additional slag and additional hose faucets. The Change Order was recommended for approval by E. A. Bauer,, Building Department. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Change Order was approved. PAYMENT REQUEST NO. 5 APPROVED, FIRE STATION #4 © Payment Request No. 5.in the amount of $86,516.80 was submitted to CD the Board by the Muia Construction Company for work done on the construction of Fire Station #4. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Payment Request was approved. W Cz7 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SALE OF FIRE STATION #11 APPROVED Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the following resolution was adopted: RESOLUTION NO. 2, 1975 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING VALUE FOR A CERTAIN PARCEL OF REAL ESTATE OWNED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AND ORDERING SALE THEREOF WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend has caused a certain parcel of real estate not necessary to the public use.to be appraised by two licensed independent appraisers who are freeholders in the City of South Bend, Indiana, and WHEREAS, the Board has received such appraisals and now, pursuant to Chapter 30 A of the Municipal Code of the City of South Bend, Indiana, desires to establish the valuation of staid parcel for the purpose of sale;.and WHEREAS, the Board now wishes to order said parcel offered for sale and provide for the giving of notice thereof, pursuant to Chapter 30A of the Municipal Code of the City of South Bend, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: 1. That the Board now establishes valuation for the hereinafter described parcel of real estate for the purpose of offering the sale of the same as follows: Description Valuation Lots Numbered Twenty (20) and $25,810.00 Twenty-one (21) in Jacob Miller's Addition to the City of South Bend, Indiana, and more commonly known as Fire Station No. 11, 2222 Lincoln Way West. 2. The Board shall prepare an offering sheet for said parcel pursuant to ordinance and copies of the offering sheet shall be on file at.the Board of Public Works and shall be made available to the public upon request.
