REGULAR MEETING <br />DECEMBER 23, 1974 <br />1 <br />Q0 <br />W <br />W <br />CHANGE ORDER, FINAL ESTIMATE,' PROJECT COMPLETION AFFIDAVIT AND <br />ASSESSMENT ROLL RECEIVED - NORTHWEST SANITARY SEWERS <br />Change Order No. l for the Northwest Sanitary Sewer construction <br />was submitted to the Board. The Change Order decreased the <br />contract by $5,826.20 and was to reflect as -built measurements. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Change Order was <br />approved. <br />The final estimate was received and filed with the Board. <br />The Project Completion Affidavit was received and, upon motion made, <br />seconded and carried, was approved by the Board. <br />The Final Assessment Roll was received. Upon motion.made, seconded <br />and carried, the Assessment Roll was filed and the Board set Monday, <br />January 6, 1975 at 9:30 a.m, in the Board of Works Hearing Room as <br />the time and place where all affected property owners can be heard <br />regarding the assessment roll. <br />TRASH COLLECTION SCHEDULE <br />Mr. Farrand announced that the trash collection schedule will be <br />one day later for each scheduled day this week and next week because <br />of the Christmas and New Year's Holiday. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT FILED <br />The Street Light Outage Report for.the period of December 13 through <br />December 19 was received. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, <br />the report was ordered filed. <br />AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH TEAMSTERS RECEIVED <br />The Board received an amendment to the Agreement approved with the <br />Teamsters Union for the South Bend Bureau of Water, Meter and <br />Distribution Department. The amendment added to the Agreement a <br />Utility Man and a Janitor. There was some discussion regarding the <br />amendment.and,.upon motion made, seconded and carried, the amendment <br />was tabled until information regarding the additions are checked <br />with Esther Gross, Auditor. <br />PARK LANE-MICHIGAN AND TAYLOR-WASHINGTON CURB CONDITION NOTED <br />Miss Virginia Guthrie called to the attention of the Board deep ruts <br />at the corner of Park Lane and Michigan Street, where the curb <br />has deteriorated. Marchmont Kovas said that motorists cut that <br />corner short when they make their turn, endangering a fire hydrant. <br />He noted that the same condition exists at the southeast corner <br />of Taylor and Washington.
