REGULAR MEETING DECEMBER 23, 1974 1 Q0 W W CHANGE ORDER, FINAL ESTIMATE,' PROJECT COMPLETION AFFIDAVIT AND ASSESSMENT ROLL RECEIVED - NORTHWEST SANITARY SEWERS Change Order No. l for the Northwest Sanitary Sewer construction was submitted to the Board. The Change Order decreased the contract by $5,826.20 and was to reflect as -built measurements. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Change Order was approved. The final estimate was received and filed with the Board. The Project Completion Affidavit was received and, upon motion made, seconded and carried, was approved by the Board. The Final Assessment Roll was received. Upon motion.made, seconded and carried, the Assessment Roll was filed and the Board set Monday, January 6, 1975 at 9:30 a.m, in the Board of Works Hearing Room as the time and place where all affected property owners can be heard regarding the assessment roll. TRASH COLLECTION SCHEDULE Mr. Farrand announced that the trash collection schedule will be one day later for each scheduled day this week and next week because of the Christmas and New Year's Holiday. STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT FILED The Street Light Outage Report for.the period of December 13 through December 19 was received. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the report was ordered filed. AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH TEAMSTERS RECEIVED The Board received an amendment to the Agreement approved with the Teamsters Union for the South Bend Bureau of Water, Meter and Distribution Department. The amendment added to the Agreement a Utility Man and a Janitor. There was some discussion regarding the amendment.and,.upon motion made, seconded and carried, the amendment was tabled until information regarding the additions are checked with Esther Gross, Auditor. PARK LANE-MICHIGAN AND TAYLOR-WASHINGTON CURB CONDITION NOTED Miss Virginia Guthrie called to the attention of the Board deep ruts at the corner of Park Lane and Michigan Street, where the curb has deteriorated. Marchmont Kovas said that motorists cut that corner short when they make their turn, endangering a fire hydrant. He noted that the same condition exists at the southeast corner of Taylor and Washington. It"was recommended that these conditions be called to the attention of Donald Decker, Director, Division of Transportation for appropriate action.
