<br />FILING OF RELEASE FORMS - RESIDENTS NEAR WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT
<br />The Bureau of Design and Administration submitted to the Board release
<br />forms from the following property owners of an area north and west
<br />of the Wastewater Treatment Plant who were allegedly affected by the
<br />dewatering operation during the recent plant construction: Jack
<br />Caldwell, Lester A. Weiss, Ralph E. Slisz, R. Mulhaupt, Frank Lamson,
<br />Rosemary Hauger, Robert L. Reynolds, Ruth N. Caldwell, A. 11. Mellander,
<br />Otto Arnold, Dennis L. Huffaker, Helen C. Forsythe,. Duane Annable,
<br />Max Strickler, Mack Austin, John W. Berry, Robert Watkins, Rudy
<br />Hafstrom. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the release forms
<br />were ordered filed.
<br />BONDS APPROVED
<br />Ray S..Andrysiak, Bureau of Engineering, recommended to the Board that
<br />the following bonds were properly executed and could be approved:
<br />EXCAVATION BOND - Herbert H. Law to 12/31/75
<br />EXCAVATION BOND - Place and Company to l/1/76
<br />CONTRACTOR'S BOND - Place and Company to l/1/76
<br />CONTRACTOR'S BOND - H. G. Christman Construction Co. to 12/31/75
<br />EXCAVATION BOND - S & W Construction Co., Inc. to l/l/76
<br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the bonds were approved to the
<br />dates listed.
<br />BOND RELEASED - HOWELL CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
<br />Ray S. Andrysiak, Bureau of Engineering, informed the Board that
<br />a request had been received to release the Excavation Bond of the
<br />Howell Construction Company. A repair was requested of the Company
<br />and that repair has now been completed satisfactorily. Mr. Andrysiak
<br />and Mr. McMahon of the Bureau of Public Construction recommended that
<br />the bond could now be released. Upon motion made, seconded and carried,
<br />the Excavation Bond for the Howell Construction Company was released
<br />effective December 9, 1974.
<br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT FILED
<br />The Street Light Outage REport for the period of November 25 through
<br />December 4 was received. Upon motion made, seconded and carried,
<br />the report was ordered filed.
<br />APPROVAL OF EASEMENT AGREEMENT - NEW LONDON LAKES CONDOMINIUMS
<br />An Easement Agreement for easements to water mains at the New London
<br />Lakes Condominiums was referred to the Department of Law for review.
<br />Kathleen Cekanski, Deputy City Attorney, reported to the Board.that
<br />this agreement was prepared by Gerald Sakaguchi of the City Attorney's
<br />Office and she recommended that it be approved. Upon motion made, seconded
<br />and carried, the Easement Agreement with New London Lakes Condominiums
<br />for easements on both sides of the as -built water mains was approved
<br />and will be recorded.
<br />REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS APPROVED - TWO STREET SWEEPERS
<br />Donald Decker, Director, Division of Transportation, requested
<br />that the Board advertise for bids for two street sweepers.
<br />Specifications were attached to the request. Upon motion made, seconded
<br />and carried, the Board approved the request and directed the Clerk
<br />to advertise for bids with bids to be received on January 6, 1975.
