<br />PAYMENT REQUEST APPROVED - WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT ADDITIONS
<br />Payment Request No. 37 from the Sollitt Construction Company in
<br />the amount of $46,149.62 was received. Mr. Farrand explained that
<br />this request is for,the scum burner building. Upon motion made,
<br />seconded and carried, the Payment Request was approved.
<br />REPORT FILED - SAMPLE-SHERIDAN AND SAMPLE -FALCON SIGNALIZATION
<br />The Bureau of Traffic and Lighting filed with the Board a report
<br />on the study made of the Sample -Sheridan and Sample -Falcon
<br />signalization, to determine if signals are warranted. Upon motion
<br />made, seconded and carried, the report was filed and will be discussed
<br />at the meeting of November 25 when Mr. Hazinski will summarize his
<br />findings to the Board and make a recommendation.
<br />RECOMMENDATION TO INSTALL STREET LIGHTS
<br />The Board received recommendations from the Bureau of Traffic and
<br />Lighting to approve the installation of the following street lights.
<br />1. 1300 Liston Street - additional midblock. Install one
<br />7,000L MV, OH, WP @ $3.75

<br />Gsa 2. East Wayne Street and Stover Court. Install one 7,000L,
<br />MV, OH, WP @ $3.75
<br />3. 1000 Lawrence - additional midblock. Relocate existing light
<br />to one-third block. Install one 7,000L, MV, OH, WP @ $3.75
<br />4. Erskine, between Donmoyer and Woodside. Original request
<br />was for boulevard lights. However, area is overhead at present.
<br />Recommend the installation of a 7,000L, MV OH, WP @ $3.75.
<br />5. Eclipse Place - North of Frederickson. Install a 7,000L, MV, OH,
<br />WP @ $3.75
<br />6. St. Vincent Street - midblock East of St. Joseph.
<br />Install a 7,000L, MV, OH, WP @ $3.75.
<br />7. Klley Street, South of Humboldt - midblock. Install two
<br />7,000L, MV OW, WP @ $3.75 = $7.50
<br />8. Calhoun a-nd Humboldt - midblock lights from Goodland to Olive
<br />(in area of High School)
<br />Install four 7,000L, 14V OH, WP @ $3.75 = $52.50
<br />9. Garland - Original Request for one light. Recommend
<br />two 7,000L, MV OH WP @ $3.75 = $7.50
<br />10. Pedestrian Alley North of the Morris Civic Auditorium. It is
<br />recommended that the 6,000L, INC fixture at the alley
<br />intersection be replaced with a 20,000L, MV UG @ $9.50. It is
<br />further recommended that two 7,000L, MV UG fixtures be mounted
<br />on the Morris Civic Building in the alley running along its
<br />north side. Install two 7,000L, MV UG @ $5.35 = $10.70
<br />11. Fassnacht Street, East of College. Install a 7,000L, 11V OH
<br />WP @ $3.75
<br />12. Irvington - 800 block - midblock. '.Install a 7,000L, 14V OH
<br />WP @ $3.75
<br />13. 1916 S. Morris - Midblock at Alley. Install 7,000L, MV OH WP
<br />@ $3.75.
<br />14. 1635 W.Calvert - Midblock at Alley. Install 7,000L, 14V OH
