210 REGULAR MEETING SEPTEMBER 30, 1974 BONDS APPROVED Ray S. Andrysiak, Bureau of Engineering, recommended approval of the following bonds: Joe Procaccino, Inc. - Excavation Bond to 9/25/75 Douglas Deckard, D/B/A Deckard Concrete Construction, Contractor's Bond to 9/17/75 Thomas J. Davis - Contractor's Bond to 9/24/75 Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the bonds were approved to the dates listed. STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT FILED The Street Light Outage Report for the period of September 23 through September 27 was received and ordered filed. PAYMENT REQUEST NO. 34, WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT APPROVED Payment Request No. 34 from the Sollitt Construction Company, Inc. in the amount of $37,510.32 was submitted to the Board. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the payment request was approved. PROJECT COMPLETION AFFIDAVIT - REMODELING OF 12TH AND 14TH FLOORS The Project Completion Affidavit for the remodeling of the 12th and 14th floors was submitted to the Board last week. Action was tabled until the matter of the painting of the 14th floor walls was resolved. Mr. Farrand explained that this work was not in the original contract and the matter has now been resolved. Upon motion made,'seconded and carried, the Completion Affidavit was approved. APPLICATIONS APPROVED - RIVER BEND PLAZA The following applications for booths on the River Bend Plaza were submitted to the Board: American Lung Association - to sell double -barred cross pins on November 16, 1974 First Apostolic Church to sell nonfood merchandise on October 4, 1974 Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the applications were approved. APPLICATION FILED - RIVER BEND PLAZA An application filed by Frank Alford for a Gospel Singing Group to appear on the Plaza on October 12, 1974 was submitted to the Board. Kathleen Cekanski, Deputy City Attorney, advised the Board that the same constitutional questions in regard to holding religious services would apply in this application. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board referred the application to the Legal Department for review and a report next Monday, October 7. C.
