210 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 30, 1974 <br />BONDS APPROVED <br />Ray S. Andrysiak, Bureau of Engineering, recommended approval of <br />the following bonds: <br />Joe Procaccino, Inc. - Excavation Bond to 9/25/75 <br />Douglas Deckard, D/B/A Deckard Concrete Construction, <br />Contractor's Bond to 9/17/75 <br />Thomas J. Davis - Contractor's Bond to 9/24/75 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the bonds were approved <br />to the dates listed. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT FILED <br />The Street Light Outage Report for the period of September 23 through <br />September 27 was received and ordered filed. <br />PAYMENT REQUEST NO. 34, WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT APPROVED <br />Payment Request No. 34 from the Sollitt Construction Company, Inc. <br />in the amount of $37,510.32 was submitted to the Board. Upon motion <br />made, seconded and carried, the payment request was approved. <br />PROJECT COMPLETION AFFIDAVIT - REMODELING OF 12TH AND 14TH FLOORS <br />The Project Completion Affidavit for the remodeling of the 12th <br />and 14th floors was submitted to the Board last week. Action was <br />tabled until the matter of the painting of the 14th floor walls was <br />resolved. Mr. Farrand explained that this work was not in the <br />original contract and the matter has now been resolved. Upon <br />motion made,'seconded and carried, the Completion Affidavit was <br />approved. <br />APPLICATIONS APPROVED - RIVER BEND PLAZA <br />The following applications for booths on the River Bend Plaza were <br />submitted to the Board: <br />American Lung Association - to sell double -barred <br />cross pins on November 16, 1974 <br />First Apostolic Church to sell nonfood merchandise <br />on October 4, 1974 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the applications were <br />approved. <br />APPLICATION FILED - RIVER BEND PLAZA <br />An application filed by Frank Alford for a Gospel Singing Group to <br />appear on the Plaza on October 12, 1974 was submitted to the Board. <br />Kathleen Cekanski, Deputy City Attorney, advised the Board that <br />the same constitutional questions in regard to holding religious <br />services would apply in this application. Upon motion made, <br />seconded and carried, the Board referred the application to the <br />Legal Department for review and a report next Monday, October 7. <br />C. <br />
