REGULAR MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 23, 1974 <br />RECOMMENDATION ON INTERSECTION SOLICITATION FOR HEART FUND APPROVED <br />Ralph Wadzinski submitted to the Board the following recommendation <br />for intersections for the Heart Fund solicitation planned for <br />Saturday, September 28: <br />"The below intersections are approved by this Bureau and <br />the Indiana State Police and South Bend Police for car <br />solicitations. <br />Edison & Ironwood, one way <br />Edison & Grape <br />Ironwood & McKinley <br />Eddy & Jefferson <br />McKinley & Twyckenham <br />Sample & Fellows <br />Michigan & Oakside <br />Cleveland & Ironwood <br />SR 23 & Ironwood <br />Lincolnway West & Wilber <br />Lincolnway West & Sheridan <br />Juniper & Old Juniper <br />Angela & Riverside <br />Angela & St. Louis <br />west bound <br />The collectors are to be reminded that they are not to attempt <br />to stop traffic at any time. At signalized intersections, <br />collections are to be made only when the traffic is stopped <br />for a red light. On Juniper and Angela, collections are to <br />be made only when traffic is stopped. Any violations of the <br />above will cause the collectors to be vacated by the police <br />forces in control of that area. <br />s/ Ralph Wadzinski <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the recommendation was <br />approved and the Clerk was directed to notify all the affected <br />Police Departments. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon <br />motion made, seconded and carried, the meeting adjourned at 11:20 a.m. <br />Rollin E.
