w.t REGULAR MEETING SEPTEMBER 23,_1974 OPENING OF BIDS - REPAIR OF-- SOUTH : BENID, DAM This was the date set for receiving bids for the repair of the South Bend dam. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News which were found to be sufficient. The following bids were opened and publicly read: Raymond International, Inc. P. 0. Box 317 Cherry Hill, New Jersey Bid - $319,461.50 Hickey Company, Inc. South Bend, Indiana Bid - $344,003.50 Lee Turzillo Contracting Co. P. 0. Box 155 Brecksville, Ohio 44141 Bid - $326,826.50 Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the bids were referred to the Bureau of Design and Administration for review, with the request that their report be made to the Board before the meeting adjourns. BIDS - STREET IMPROVEMENTS ON INWOOD ROAD AND DENSLOW DRIVE This was the date set for receiving bids for street improvements on Inwood Road and Denslow Drive. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News which were found to be sufficient. The following bids were opened and publicly read: Walsh & Kelly, Inc. 2015 Western Avenue South Bend, Indiana Bid - $102,955.25 Rieth-Riley Construction Co. 24355 State Road 23 South Bend, Indiana Bid - $.121,278.25 Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the bids were referred to the Bureau of Design and Administration for review and recommendation. OPENING OF BIDS - BUREAU OF STREETS LIQUID CALCIUM CHLORIDE This was the date set for receiving bids for Liquid Calcium Chloride for the Bureau of Streets. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News which were found to be sufficient. The following bids were opened and publicly read: Orley of Illiana Bid - $13,220.00 Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the bid was referred to the Bureau of Streets for review and recommendation.
