REGULAR MEETING FEBRUARY 11, 1974 C. Change Yield Signs to Stop Signs on Carroll at Haney Street. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the change was approved. CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE FILED The Board received Certificates of Insurance from Morse Electric Company, Inc. and from Eugene Hoath. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Certificates were ordered filed. RELEASE OF BONDS APPROVED Requests were received from the Surety Companies for the release of the following bonds: All American Concrete Company - Contractor's Bond All American Concrete Company - Excavation Bond Wallace Mitchell - Excavation Bond Ray S. Andrysiak, Bureau of Engineering, reported to the Board that there were no outstanding claims against these contractors and that the bonds could be released for any work done on or after February 11, 1974. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board released the Contractor's Bond for the All American Concrete Company, the Excavation Bond for. the All American Concrete Company and the Excavation Bond for Wallace Mitchell for any work done on or after February 11, 1974. CHANGE ORDER AND EXTRA WORK AGREEMENT APPROVED - TOPICS PROJECT T6000(11 The Board received a Change Order and Extra Work Agreement for the Topics Project T6000(00), the Michigan Street -Main Street Signalization project. Mr. Farrand explained that this involves a change in materials. The Contractor has asked that he be allowed to use a combination cable and the City has no objection. There is no change in the dollar amount of the contract. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the Change Order and the Extra Work Agreement. APPROVAL OF BONDS The Board received a recommendation from Ray S. Andrysiak, Bureau of Engineering, that the following bonds were properly executed and could be approved: Julius O'Neal Contractor's Bond to l/l/75 Continuation Certificate for the Excavation Bond for Charles Stickler to 12/31/74 Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the bonds to the dates listed. PAYMENT REQUEST NO. 29 APPROVED - WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT ADDITIONS The Board received Payment Request No. 29 from the Sollitt Construction Company in the amount of $74,024.21, for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Additions. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Payment Request was approved. INTERIM REPORT ON URBAN HOMESTEADING RECEIVED The Board received a copy of the Interim Report on Urban Homesteading from the Community Development Department. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the report was ordered filed. STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT The Street Light Outage Report for the period of January 31 to February 7, 1974 was received and ordered filed.
