<br />APPROVAL FOR JAYCEES TO SOLICIT SIGNATURES FOR BASS LAKE BOND PETITION
<br />Mr. Joe Dickman, South Bend Jaycees, was present and requested permission
<br />to solicit signatures for the Bass Lake Bond Petition in the Downtown Mall
<br />area on Saturdays January 19 and 26 and February 2, 9 and 16 from 11:00 a.m.
<br />to 4:00 p.m. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the
<br />request. Mr. Barcome commented that, as a private citizen, he is in complete
<br />support of the project. Mr. Seitz also indicated that he was happy to see
<br />the Jaycees take on this worthwhile project.
<br />AWARDING OF BID - VENTILATION SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS MSF
<br />The Board received a recommendation from the Bureau of Design and Engineering
<br />that the bid of Ideal Consolidated should be accepted for the Ventilation
<br />System Improvements at the Municipal Services Facility. Awarding of the bid is
<br />uubject to Common Council appropriation of the funds. Upon motion made, seconded
<br />and carried, the Board awarded the bid to Ideal Consolidated on their low bid of
<br />$26, 313.64, subject to Common Council approval of the appropriation.
<br />APPROVAL OF PROJECT COMPLETION AFFIDAVIT, MUNICIPAL SERVICES STORAGE BUILDING
<br />The Board received and approved the Project Completion Affidavit with
<br />Christman Construction Company for the construction of the Storage Building at
<br />the Municipal Services Facility.
<br />APPROVAL OF PROJECT COMPLETION AFFIDAVIT - IRELAND-IRONWOOD SANITARY SEWERS

<br />The Board received and approved the Project Completion Affidavit with H.

<br />REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS - BUREAU OF POLICE VEHICLES
<br />The Board received a request from Chief Robert J. Urban to advertise for bids
<br />for Bureau of Police vehicles. The Board referred the request to James
<br />Meehan, Bureau of Vehicle Maintenance, for a check of the specifications, with
<br />Mr. Meehan to report to the Board,
<br />BOND RELEASED - ABRAHAM KAHAL
<br />The Board received a request to release the Contractor's Bond for Abraham
<br />Kahal written by the Continental Casualty Company. Ray S. Andrysiak, Bureau
<br />of Engineering, advised the Board that the bond could be released as of
<br />January 10, 1974. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the bond was
<br />released for all work done on or before January 10, 1974.
<br />PAYMENT REQUEST APPROVED, WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT ADDITIONS
<br />The Board received Payment Request No. 28 from the Sollitt Construction Co.,
<br />Inc, for work on the Wastewater Treatment Plant Additions in the amount of
<br />$122,182.94. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the request was approved.
