'3 H REGULAR MEETING AUGUST 9, 1976' Board, along with the Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond. The Board awarded the bid on theconstructionproject on July 26, 1976. Upon motion made by Mr. Farrand, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the contract was approved and the Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond were filed. RIVER BEND PLAZA APPLICATIONS APPROVED Ron Bock, Director of River Bend Plaza, submitted to the Board the following activities for the Plaza with his favorable recommendation: Organ Concert on Robertson's Stage on August 9 Liberty Train '76 on August 12 Upon motion made by Mr. Farrand, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the applications were approved. REQUEST TO PURCHASE CITY -OWNED LOT AT 1221 GRACE STREET The Board received a request from Chester Muszynski for information regarding the purchase of a city -owned .lot at 1221 Grace Street. Upon motion made by Mr. Farrand, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the letter was filed and referred to the Department of Redevelopment, the Engineering Department and the -Park Department for review and a recommendation as to whether the lot should be sold. STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT FILED The Street Light Outage Report for the period of August 2 through 6 was received. The report included 25 outages. Upon motion made by Mr. Farrand, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the report was ordered filed. TRAFFIC CONTRAL DEVICES APPROVED Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, recommended to the Board the following installations in connection with the new Donmoyer Street Extension: A. New Installation of Stop Signs on Donmoyer at Michigan B. New Installation of No Parking Zone on the East side of Main Street from Donmoyer to the first alley north of Donmoyer C. New Installation of No Parking Zone on both sides of 100 W. Donmoyer D. New Installation of Stop Sign on Donmoyer at Main Upon motion made by Mr. .Farrand, seconded by 1.1r. .Brunner and carried, the installations were approved. REQUEST TO PAINT TRASH CONTAINERS ON -PLAZA Mrs. Janet Allen, 125 W. Marion, was present and asked the Board to look into the matter of repainting the trash containers on River Bend Plaza. She also called attention to the poor condition of the rug in the River Bend Plaza Office and .to weeds and trash on the lot at the Northwest Corner of Michigan and LaSalle Street. Mr. Farrand asked that the complaints be referred to him.for investigation. There being no further business made by Mr. Farrand, seconded by meeting adjourned at 10:25 a.m. AT T: Clerk to come before the Board, upon motion Mr. Brunner and carried the �1
