REGULAR MEETING <br />TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES APPROVED <br />JUNE 21, 1976' <br />Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, <br />recommended that the Board approve the following installations: <br />1. No Parking on both sides of Prast Boulevard - (a) from Bendix <br />west to Kentucky (6) from Bendix, east to first north -south <br />alley ' (approximately 125 feet) <br />2. No Parking; both sides of 3100 and 3200 W. Ardmore, from Bendix <br />to a point approximately 150' from the intersection. <br />Upon motion made by Mr. Farrand, seconded by Mr. Brunner and <br />carried, the installations were approved. <br />RECOMMENDATION -`PETITION TO VACATE ALLEY SOUTH OF CALVERT STREET <br />The Division of Engineering reported to the Board that they had <br />reviewed the petition`of Fabricated Steel Products to vacate the <br />north -south alley running south of Calvert Street and west of <br />Main Street and have no objection to the vacation, subject to the <br />existing utility easements. Upon motion made by Mr. Farrand, <br />seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the petition was filed and <br />referred to the Area Plan Commission for their review and a <br />public hearing. <br />LETTER OF THANKS FROM PARK AVENUE NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION <br />The Board received a letter from Donald Fisher, President of the <br />Park Avenue Neighborhood Association, thanking them for their <br />cooperation in the planning of their Tour of Homes and Ice Cream <br />Social on June 6. They expressed their appreciation to the Board, <br />Street�Commissioner, Park Superintendent, Traffic Department and <br />Police Department for their cooperation. Upon motion made by <br />Mr. Farrand, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the Board filed <br />the letter and directed that copies be sent to the Departments <br />mentioned. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon <br />motion made by Mr. Farrand, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried <br />the meeting adjourned at 10:45a.m. <br />Peter H.
