�) <br />0 1 Of <br />C <br />REGULAR MEETING MAY 24, 1976 <br />ANNOUNCEMENT OF REGULAR SOLID WASTE PICK UP MEMORIAL DAY <br />The Board received notification from Joseph Kuminecz, Bureau <br />of. Solid Waste, that regular trash pick-up will be made next <br />Monday, Memorial Day. The notification was ordered filed. <br />LETTER RECEIVED RE: PARKING RATE INCREASES <br />Mr. Farrand submitted to the Board a letter from Council President <br />Roger Parent regarding the Council's rejection of the resolution <br />of the Board of Public Works increasing parking rates at the <br />City garages and flat lots. Mr. Mullen noted that the Parking <br />Study Commission has met and has made some changes in their <br />recommendation. He suggested that a letter be sent to Mr. Parent <br />and Mr. Bloomquist advising them that it is the Board's understanding <br />that there have been some changes in the recommendation of the <br />Parking Garage Study Commission and asking that written notification <br />of the changes be sent to the Board by next Tuesday, June 1. <br />Upon motion made by Mr. Farrand, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, <br />the letter from Mr. Parent was ordered filed and a letter was <br />directed to Mr. Bloomquist and Mr. Parent requesting a copy of <br />the changes in the Study Commission's recommendations. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon <br />motion made by Mr. Farrand, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, <br />the meeting adjourned at 10:50 a.m. <br />ATTEST: <br />Patricia DeClercq, Clerk <br />
