REGULAR MEETING APRIL 26, 1976 G�7 A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at 9:30 a.m, on Monday, April.26, 1976 by President Rollin Farrand with Mr. Farrand, Mr. Brunner and Mr. Mullen Present. Deputy City Attorney William Stanley was also present. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING APPROVED Mr. Mullen reported that the minutes of the previous meeting had been reviewed and he made a motion that the minutes be approved as submitted.. The motion was seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried. OPENING OF BIDS - MODEL CITIES SEWER SEPARATION PROJECT This was the date set for receiving bids for the Model Cities Sewer Separation Project. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News which were found to be sufficient. The following bids were opened and publicly read: Peerless Construction Company Box Mattoon, Illinois Bid - Division 2 - $749,997.25 Bid was signed by Dean Steinhilber, non -collusion affidavit was in order and a 5% bid bond was submitted. Loitz Brothers Construction Co. Bid was signed by Wendell Horn, 111 S. Main Street non -collusion affidavit was in Grant Park, Illinois order and a 5% bid bond was submitted.
