REGULAR MEETING MARCH 15, 1976
STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT FILED`
The Street Light Outage report for the period of March 8 through
12 was received and indicated twelve outages. Upon motion made by
Mr. Farrand, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the report was
ordered filed.
MINUTES APPROVED
Mr. Farrand reported that the minutes of the previous meeting had
been reviewed and he made a motion that the minutes be accepted as
submitted. The motion was seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried.
REQUEST FOR STREET SERVICES
The Board received a request from Celestial Prophet Clarence Hardin
to conduct street services at the corner of Washington and Walnut
Streets, from March 22 through November 22, 1976 at 12:00 noon.
Upon motion made by Mr. Farrand, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried,
the request was referred to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting
for review and recommendation.
ADDENDUM TO VEHICLE BID AWARD APPROVED
Mr. Farrand recommended that the Board increase the bid award made
last week in Class II to Freeman -Spicer by one additional vehicle
in order to provide the total number of vehicles required for the
expanded Environmental Protection Bureau. Mr. Farrand said that
because of the manufacturer's discount for the police package it
is more economical to purchase this car than to go for bids without
the police package. This price fact has been verified by securing
verbal quotes on similar cars without said police package.
Mr. Farrand then made a motion that the bid award in Class II to
Freeman -Spicer be.increased by one additional vehicle. Mr. Brunner
seconded the motion and it was carried.
There being no further business to come before the Board, upon
motion made, seconded and carried, the meeting adjourned at
10:35 a.m.
fz JX"
Rollin E. Farrand
ATTEST:
Patricia DeClercq, Clerk
