REGULAR MEETING MARCH 8, 1976 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at <br />9:30 a.m, on Monday, TZarch 8, 1976 by President Rollin Farrand, <br />with Mr. Farrand, Mr. Brunner and Mr. Mullen present. Deputy <br />City Attorney William Stanley was also present. <br />MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING APPROVED <br />Mr. Mullen reported that the minutes of the previous meeting <br />had been reviewed and he made a motion that the minutes be' <br />accepted as submitted. The motion was seconded by 14r. Brunner <br />and carried. <br />OPENING OF BIDS - HOT MIX TRAILER <br />This was the date'set for receiving'bids`for a hot mix trailer for <br />the Bureau of Streets. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication <br />of notice in the South Bend Tribune and in the Tri-County News <br />which were found to be sufficient. The following bids were opened <br />and publicly read: <br />Seastrom, Inc. Bid was signed by James R. <br />Indianapolis, Indiana Hadley, non -collusion affidavit <br />was in order and a 10% bid <br />bond was submitted. <br />Bid - One New Portable Asphalt Storage Unit - $7,784.00 <br />There was only one bid received. Upon motion made by Mr. Farrand, <br />seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the bid was referred to the <br />Bureau of Streets for review and recommendation. <br />OPE14ING OF BIDS - AMBULANCES <br />This was the date set for receiving bids for ambulances for the <br />Bureau of Fire. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of <br />notice in the South Bend Tribune and in the Tri-County News which <br />were found to be sufficient. The following bids were opened and <br />publicly read: <br />Butler Coach Company <br />Bid was signed by Jack R.
