Seitz <br />s/ James V..Barcome <br />ATTEST: <br />s/ Patricia DeClercq, Clerk <br />FILING OF ASSESSMENT ROLL AND DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING SET - ELWOOD <br />AVENUE SIDEWALK AND CURB IMPROVE14ENT <br />The final assessment and the Assessment Roll for the construction of <br />the Elwood Avenue sidewalk and curb improvements, authorized under <br />Improvement Resolution No. 3404, 1974, was submitted to the'Board. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board adopted a resolution <br />accepting the final estimate and Assessment Roll and the Clerk was <br />directed to advertise a public hearing on the Assessment Roll to be <br />held at 9:30 a.m, on Monday, February 2, 1976. <br />BOND APPROVED. <br />Ray S. Andrysiak, Bureau of Engineering, reported to the Board that <br />a Continuation Certificate for the Contractor's Bond of Jay A. Kretchmer <br />had been reviewed and could be approved to 12/31/76. Upon motion made, <br />seconded and carried, the Board approved the bond to the date listed. <br />CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE FILED <br />A Certificate of Insurance from American Chain and Cable Company was <br />received. Deputy City Attorney Kathleen Cekanski reviewed the <br />Certificate and recommended that it be filed. Upon motion made, <br />seconded and carried, the Certificate was ordered filed. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT FILED <br />The Street Light Outage Report for the period of December 16 through <br />22 was received. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the report <br />was ordered filed. <br />NO;. PARKING ' OfT•. PORTION OF MIAMI STREET' -APPROVED <br />The Bureau of Traffic and Lighting recommended to the Board that <br />No Parking signs be installed on both sides of Miami Street, from <br />Donmoyer to Victoria. The no parking ban to be in effect from 9:00 a.m. <br />to 9:00 p.m. There was a discussion regarding the matter of parking. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the recommendation was revised <br />to affect Miami Street, from Donmoyer to Eckman. Upon motion made, <br />seconded and carried, the revised recommendation was approved. <br />BID ADVERTISING FOR GASOLINE APPROVED <br />Mr. Farrand noted that the City did not receive any bids in its last <br />advertisement for gasoline. He has been advised that the energy controls <br />have now been lifted and he requested that the Board approve advertising <br />for bids for 100% of the City's gasoline requirements for 1976. Upon <br />motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the request and <br />directed the Clerk to advertise for sealed bids, with bids to be received <br />at 9:30 a.m, on Janaury 19, 1976. Detailed specifications will be <br />prepared and filed with the Board. <br />
