This Board, at its office, on the 26th day of January, 1976 at 9:30 a.m, will hear and receive remonstrances from all persons interesteed in or affected by these proceedings. Seitz s/ James V..Barcome ATTEST: s/ Patricia DeClercq, Clerk FILING OF ASSESSMENT ROLL AND DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING SET - ELWOOD AVENUE SIDEWALK AND CURB IMPROVE14ENT The final assessment and the Assessment Roll for the construction of the Elwood Avenue sidewalk and curb improvements, authorized under Improvement Resolution No. 3404, 1974, was submitted to the'Board. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board adopted a resolution accepting the final estimate and Assessment Roll and the Clerk was directed to advertise a public hearing on the Assessment Roll to be held at 9:30 a.m, on Monday, February 2, 1976. BOND APPROVED. Ray S. Andrysiak, Bureau of Engineering, reported to the Board that a Continuation Certificate for the Contractor's Bond of Jay A. Kretchmer had been reviewed and could be approved to 12/31/76. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the bond to the date listed. CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE FILED A Certificate of Insurance from American Chain and Cable Company was received. Deputy City Attorney Kathleen Cekanski reviewed the Certificate and recommended that it be filed. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Certificate was ordered filed. STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT FILED The Street Light Outage Report for the period of December 16 through 22 was received. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the report was ordered filed. NO;. PARKING ' OfT•. PORTION OF MIAMI STREET' -APPROVED The Bureau of Traffic and Lighting recommended to the Board that No Parking signs be installed on both sides of Miami Street, from Donmoyer to Victoria. The no parking ban to be in effect from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. There was a discussion regarding the matter of parking. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the recommendation was revised to affect Miami Street, from Donmoyer to Eckman. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the revised recommendation was approved. BID ADVERTISING FOR GASOLINE APPROVED Mr. Farrand noted that the City did not receive any bids in its last advertisement for gasoline. He has been advised that the energy controls have now been lifted and he requested that the Board approve advertising for bids for 100% of the City's gasoline requirements for 1976. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the request and directed the Clerk to advertise for sealed bids, with bids to be received at 9:30 a.m, on Janaury 19, 1976. Detailed specifications will be prepared and filed with the Board.
