REGULAR MEETING <br />NOVEMBER 3, 1975 <br />BOND RELEASED - HENRY M. SCHOTT <br />A request to release the Excavation Bond of Henry M. Schott was <br />received from the Surety Company. Ray S. Andrysiak, Bureau of <br />Engineering, reported to the Board that he had reviewed the request <br />and could find no reason to hold the bond and recommended release. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board released the <br />Excavation Bond of Henry 11. Schott, effective this date. <br />RIVER BEND PLAZA APPLICATIONS APPROVED <br />Douglas Simpson, Director, River Bend Plaza, submitted the following <br />applications to the Board with his favorable recommendation: <br />A. Harold Medow, Inc. and New Car Dealer's Association - Display <br />of 1976 Model Cars - November 6, 7 and 8. Upon motion made, <br />seconded and carried, the application; was approved. <br />B. The National Bank & Trust Company - Booth to dispense free <br />cider and doughnuts in connection with the New Car Display <br />on November 6. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the <br />application was approved. <br />APPRAISALS ORDERED FOR CITY -OWNED PROPERTY <br />The following properties have been declared by Resolution of'the <br />Board of Public Works to be not needed for any public purpose. <br />Resolutions were submitted to the Common Council and they did not <br />cc ask that any of the parcels be retained. Properties are 1219-1221 <br />S. Lafayette, Part of Lots 17 and 18 Keefer's Sub. (Innerbelt Property) <br />1033 Georgiana, 920 S. Franklin and 612 E. Ohio. Upon motion made, <br />seconded and carried, the Board authorized the appraisal of the properties. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT FILED <br />The Street Light Outage Report for the period of October 24 through 31 <br />was received. Upon motion made, seconded and carried,the report <br />was ordered filed. <br />CHANGE ORDER APPROVED - FELLOWS -WIDENER LANE SEWER PROJECT <br />Change Order No. 1 for the Widener Lane Sanitary Sewer Project was <br />submitted to the Board. The Change Order increased the contract by <br />$20,197.71. Mr. Farrand explained that the Change Order covered <br />some additional excavation that was not shown on the plans. The final <br />cost of the project is still within the budget estimate. Mr. Farrand <br />recommended that the Change Order be approved. Upon motion made, <br />seconded and carried, the Change Order was approved. <br />REPORT - INTERSECTION STUDIES <br />Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, <br />sent the following report to the Board: <br />"This is to inform the Board of the present on -going <br />investigations of intersection control revision requests <br />for the following intersections: <br />Hamilton and Johnson <br />Victoria and High <br />Ford :and Walnut <br />Ford and Meade <br />Ford and Kaley <br />Woodward and Golden <br />Bergan and Olive <br />Colfax and Walnut <br />Hass and Rose <br />
