1 3 <br />REGULAR MEETING OCTOBER 20, 1975 <br />B. Indian Guides Induction Ceremony and Bonfire, Saturday, <br />November 8, 1975 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Upon motion <br />made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the application. <br />C. Christmas Parade - November 15, 1975. Beginning at 11:00 <br />a.m, at the Morris Civic Auditorium, right on Colfax to Main, <br />left on Main to Western Avenue, left at Western to the fire lane <br />on the Plaza, left on the Plaza and north through the Plaza to <br />the Morris Civic Auditorium. Upon motion made, seconded and <br />carried, the Board approved the parade, subject to approval of <br />the route by the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting and the Police <br />Department Traffic Detail. <br />LEASE WITH MENTAL HEALTH CENTER <br />A lease with the Mental Health Center for the use of the property <br />at 420 N. Frances Street as the Delos House Drug Center was submitted <br />to the Board. Mr. Farrand said the lease was reviewed by Chief <br />Deputy Robert M. Parker., Mr. Farrand and -Mr. Parker are recommending <br />approval of the lease. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the <br />Board signed the lease. <br />REQUEST FOR WALK FOR HUNGER ON MARCH 27 1976 <br />r¢- <br />The Notre Dame <br />World Hunger Coalition <br />has requested that they be <br />allowed to hold <br />a Walk for Hunger on March 27, 1976. Upon motion <br />made, seconded <br />to submission, <br />and carried, the Board <br />of <br />approved the request, subject <br />with the rules <br />a route three months <br />of the Board regarding <br />in advance and to compliance <br />indemnity insurance. <br />REQUEST FOR STREET SOLICITATIONS NOVEMBER 8 THROUGH DECEMBER 31 <br />The Seventh Day Adventist Church requested permission of the Board <br />to conduct street solicitation for funds from November 8 through <br />December 31, 1975. They have received a permit from the Charitable <br />Solicitations Commission. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, <br />the request was approved. <br />REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS - RANDOLPH STREET RETENTION BASIN <br />David Wells, Manager of the Bureau of Design and Administration, <br />requested that the Board advertise for bids for the Clyde Creek <br />Drainage Area Sewer Separation Project, the Randolph Street Retention <br />Basin. The Board signed the title sheet approving the plans on <br />October 13, 1975. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board <br />authorized the advertising for bids for the construction of the project. <br />The Clerk is to be notified when plans are ready for advertising. <br />PAYMENT REQUEST NO. 44 APPROVED, WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT ADDITIONS <br />Payment Request No. 44, the final payment request from Sollitt <br />Construction .Company for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Additions <br />was submitted to the Board. The request was in.the amount of <br />$19,741.97, with the total amount of the contract being $7,156,152.84. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Payment Request was approved. <br />BONDS APPROVED <br />Ray S. Andrysiak, Bureau of Engineering, reported to the Board that <br />the following bonds had been properly executed and could be approved: <br />Donald J. Lambert d/b/a Lambert Plumbing & Heating Company to 10/13/76 <br />Sollitt Construction Company to 4/2/76 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the bonds were approved to <br />the dates listed. <br />
