REGULAR MEETING SEPTEMBER 29, 1975 CHANGE ORDER APPROVED - WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT ADDITIONS Mr. Patel of Clyde E. Williams and Associates was present and submitted to the Board .Change Order No. 12, the final change order for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Additions from the Sollitt Construction Company. The Change Order was in the amount of $107,047.05 and was approved by Clyde E. Williams and Associates. Total amount of the contract was $7,156,152.84. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Change Order was approved. APPROVAL OF RIVER BEND APPLICATIONS Douglas Simpson, Director of River Bend Plaza, submitted the following applications to the Board with a favorable recommendation. United Way Campaign - Display Only, October 6, 7 and 8. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the application. John Spagnola Fresh ,Produce Dealer - Wednesdays and Fridays. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the application was approved subject to receipt of liability insurance and licensing. Michigan State Band - Concert on Saturday, October 4 at 9:30 a.m. Ralph Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, reviewed + this request with Captain Sweitzer of the Police Department. Approval was recommended and it was noted that a police escort will be provided for the band from the downtown area to the Notre Dame Stadium. Upon -� motion made, seconded and carried, the application was approved. REPORT - SIMON BROTHERS REQUEST Ralph Wadzinski, Manager, Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, reported to the Board that he had reviewed the request of Simon Brothers to allow parking on Bendix Drive on September 20 for their Food Show Exhibit. Mr. Wadzinski said a field investigation revealed that parking on Bendix Drive in this area is not prohibited. Captain Sweitzer of the Police Department Traffic Detail concurred that parking on Bendix Drive in this area would not cause problems. Mr. Wadzinski requested that this report be entered into the minutes of the Board since no action is required. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board filed the report. CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE FILED Certificates of Insurance from the LaFree Excavating Company and the Scottish Rite Lodge were received. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Certificates were ordered filed. BONDS APPROVED Ray S. Andrysiak, Bureau of Engineering, reported to the Board that bonds for James Kruszynski to September 18, 1976 and for Tom Davis to January 21, 1976 were properly executed and could be approved. Both are contractor's bonds. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the bonds to the dates listed. STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT FILED The Street Light Outage Report for the period of September 15 through September 26 was received. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the report was ordered filed.
