�1 <br />REGULAR MEETING AUGUST 25, 1975 <br />34th at Vine, southeast corner <br />Irvington at Sampson, southwest corner <br />Greenwood at Southeast, southwest corner <br />Madison at Ironwood, southwest corner <br />Coquillard at Bader, northwest corner <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the installations were <br />approved. <br />CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 APPROVED - OLIVE STREET SEWERS <br />Change Order No. 2 to the H. DeWulf Construction Company for the <br />construction of the Olive Street Sanitary and Storm Sewers was <br />submitted to the Board. Mr. David Wells, Manager of the Bureau <br />of Design and Administration, was present and explained that this <br />was to adjust the contract to as -built quantities. The Change <br />Order decreases the contract by $5,031.60. Upon motion made, <br />seconded and carried, the Change Order was approved. <br />PETITION FOR STOP SIGN ON LELAND AVENUE AT REX STREET <br />A petition signed by thirteen residents of the area, requesting <br />the installation of a stop sign on Leland Avenue at Rex Street, <br />was transmitted to the Board by Councilman Joseph Serge. Upon <br />motion made, seconded and carried, the petition was referred to <br />the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting for a field check and <br />recommendation. <br />PETITION FOR STOP SIGN ON VAN BUREN AT ALLEN STREET <br />Councilman Joseph Serge transmitted to the Board a petition signed <br />by area residents requesting the installation of a stop sign on <br />Van Buren at Allen Street. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, <br />the petition was referred to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting <br />for field check and recommendation. <br />REQUEST FOR STOP SIGN ON SOUTHLEA DRIVE AT VIKING DRIVE <br />Councilman Joseph Serge sent a request to the Board asking that <br />a stop sign be installed on Southlea Drive at Viking Drive. Upon <br />motion made, seconded and carried, the request was referred to <br />the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting for review and recommendation. <br />BOND RELEASED - WORKINGER ELECTRIC COMPANY <br />Ray S. Andrysiak, Bureau of Engineering, reported to the Board that <br />he had reviewed a request for the release of the Excavation Bond of <br />the Workinger Electric Company and the bond could be released as <br />-of this date. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the bond <br />of the Workinger Electric Company was released, effective August 25, 1975. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT FILED <br />The Street Light Outage Report for the period of August 18 through 22 <br />was received. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the report was <br />ordered filed. <br />FILING OF CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE FOR McINTYRE & JONES <br />A Certificate of Insurance for McIntyre and Jones Construction Company <br />was submitted to the Board. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, <br />the Certificate was ordered filed. <br />
