Seitz <br />ATTEST: <br />s/ Patricia DeClercq, Clerk <br />REQUEST FOR CONSTRUCTION OF SEWERS <br />The Board received a petition signed by nine residents of the <br />19000-21000 blocks of Jackson Road asking that a preliminary study <br />be made of the construction of sanitary sewers in their area. Upon <br />motion made, seconded and carried, the request was referred to <br />the Bureau of Design and Administration for review and recommendation. <br />TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES APPROVED <br />The Bureau of Traffic and Lighting recommended that the following <br />traffic control devices be installed: <br />A. "No Parking" signs, during temporary construction, on both <br />sides of Michigan Street, from Monroe to the south city limits. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the installation was <br />approved. <br />B. Stop Sign on Swygart at Donald. Upon motion made, seconded <br />and carried, the installation was approved. <br />C. Stop sign on Rex at Leland. Upon motion made, seconded and <br />cajried, the installation was approved. <br />D. "No Parking" signs to be considered temporary at this time, <br />on the North side of Westmoor, from Bendix Drive to Sheridan, <br />during Westmoor Street construction. Upon motion made, seconded <br />and carried, the installation was approved. <br />REPORT ON REQUEST FOR GREEN CURB AT 306 W. MONROE <br />The Board received the following report: <br />"The Seifer Safe & Lock Service requested a "green zone" <br />at their location, 306 W. Monroe Street. Attached is a <br />copy of a letter sent to the above by Mr. Hazinski on <br />June 6, 1975. <br />Upon random observations of the 306 W. Monroe area, no <br />difficulty was observed obtaining a parking space. If a <br />problem develops at a later date, consideration should be <br />given at that time to the installation of a 12 minute meter. <br />s/ Ralph J.
