11 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />AUGUST 4, 1975 <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT FILED <br />The Street Light Outage Report for the period of July 23 through <br />August l was received. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, <br />the report was ordered filed. <br />RECOMMENDATION TO AWARD BID APPROVED - WALNUT STREET SIDEWALK <br />AND RETAINING: WALLS`,`G.T.W.'R,'R. <br />The Board received a recommendation from the Bureau of Design and <br />Administration that the bid of the Ziolkowski Construction Company <br />for the retaining walls and sidewalk on Walnut Street at the Grand <br />Trunk Western Railroad crossing be accepted. Upon motion made, <br />seconded and carried, the recommendation was approved and the bid <br />for the Walnut Street retaining walls and sidewalk was awarded to <br />the Ziolkowski Construction Company on their low and only bid of <br />$52,459.90. <br />RECOMMENDATION TO AWARD BID APPROVED - HURON STREET CURBS <br />The Board received a recommendation from the Bureau of Design and <br />Administration that the low bid of the Rieth-Riley Construction Company <br />be accepted for the construction of curbs on Huron Street. Upon <br />motion made,seconded and carried, the Board accepted the recommendation <br />and awarded the bid for the construction of curbs on Huron Street <br />to the Rieth Riley Construction Company on their low bid of $7,010.00. <br />e� <br />RECOMMENDATION TO AWARD BID APPROVED - CURBS ON WESTMOOR STREET <br />The Board received a recommendation from the Bureau of Design and <br />Administration that the low bid of the Rieth Riley Construction Company <br />be accepted for the curb construction on Westmoor Street. Upon motion <br />made, seconded and carried, the recommendation was approved and the <br />Board accepted the low and only bid of the Rieth Riley Construction <br />Company for the construction of the Westmoor Street curbs for a total <br />bid price of $28,027.65. <br />RECOMMENDATION TO AWARD BID APPROVED — MIAMI STREET SIDEWALKS <br />The Board received a recommendation from the Bureau of Design and <br />Administration that the low bid of the McIntyre and Jones Construction <br />Company be accepted for the construction of sidewalks on Miami Street <br />at the Bowman Cemetery. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the <br />Board approved the recommendation and accepted the low bid of the <br />McIntyre and Jones Construction Company of $6,953.00 for the construction <br />of sidewalks on Miami Street. <br />RECOMMENDATION TO AWARD BID APPROVED - CONSTRUCTION OF ONE BLOCK <br />OF DONMOYER STREET - MICHIGAN TO MAIN <br />The Board received a recommendation from the Bureau of Design and <br />Administration that the low bid of the Rieth Riley Construction Company, <br />including Alternate A - 8"reinforced concrete pavement, be accepted <br />for the construction of one block of Donmoyer Street, from Main <br />to Michigan Street. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the <br />Board approved the recommendation and accepted the low bid of the <br />Rieth-Riley Construction Company, including Alternate A, 8" reinforced <br />concrete pavement, of $31,558.25 for the construction of one block <br />of Donmoyer Street, from Main to Michigan Street. The bid award was <br />subject to the appropriation of funds. <br />
