CI <br />REGULAR MEETING NOVEMBER 28, 1977 <br />BID ADVERTISING APPROVED - FIRE DEPARTMENT AIR TANKS <br />Chief Oscar Van Wiele of the Fire Department requested that the <br />Board approve advertising for Air Tanks for the Department, <br />with bids to be requested for unit prices and for 10 units, more <br />or less. Detailed specifications will be submitted to the Board <br />before Friday, December 2. Upon motion made by Mr. Mullen, <br />seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the Board approved the request <br />and directed that sealed bids be sought, with bid opening to be <br />held on Monday, December 12, at 9:30 a.m. <br />TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES APPROVED <br />Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, <br />recommended the following installations: <br />A. Revise Two Hour Parking to One Hour Parking, 6 AM to 6 PM, <br />at 1002 Lincolnway West. Upon motion made by Mr. Mullen, <br />seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the installation was approved. <br />B. Revise Two Hour Parking to One Hour Parking, 6 AM to 6 PM <br />West Side of Harrison, 60 feet south of Lincolnway West. <br />Upon motion made by Mr. Mullen, seconded by Mr. Brunner and <br />carried, the installation was approved. <br />C. Remove Two Hour Parking Zone at 1609 S. Michigan Street. <br />Upon motion made by Mr. Mullen, seconded by Mr. Brunner and <br />carried, the removal was approved. <br />D. Install Green Curb, 10 Minute Parking Zone, at 307 S. Main for the <br />Indiana Bell Telephone Company. Upon motion made by Mr. Mullen, <br />seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the installation was approved. <br />E. Install Stop Sign at Washington and Greenlawn at a Tee intersection <br />near the location of the Forever Learning Institute. Upon motion <br />made by Mr. Brunner, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, the <br />installation was approved. <br />CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE FILED - INDIANA CABLEVISION COMPANY <br />Indiana Cablevision Company submitted a Certificate of Insurance to <br />the Board. The Certificate was in the limits required by the Board. <br />Upon motion made by Mr. Mullen, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, <br />the certificate was filed. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT FILED <br />The street light outage report for the period November 21 through <br />23 was submitted. The report indicated 23 outages. Upon motion made <br />by Mr. Mullen, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the report was filed. <br />CLAIMS APPROVED <br />Michael L. Vance, Deputy City Controller, submitted to the Board Claim <br />Docket Numbers 20792 through 21581 and recommended approval. Upon <br />motion made by Mr. Brunner, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, the <br />Board approved Claim Docket Numbers 20792 through 21581 and directed <br />that checks for payment be issued. <br />There being no further business <br />made by Mr. Mullen, seconded by <br />adjourned at 10:20 a.m. <br />ATTEST: <br />Patricia DeClercq, Clerk <br />to come before the Board, upon motion <br />Mr. Brunner and carried, the meeting <br />
