REGULAR MEETING <br />NOVEMBER 14, 1977 <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT FILED <br />The Street Light Outage Report for the period November 7 through <br />10 was submitted to the Board. The report indicated forty-one <br />outages. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen <br />and carried, the report was ordered filed. , <br />LEASES WITH A.C.T.T.O.N., TNC. APPROVED <br />Leases with A.C.T.I.O.N., Inc. for the use of Old Fire Station <br />#7 at 803 N. Notre Dame Avenue and old Fire Station 10 at <br />1820 S. Michigan Street were prepared by Deputy City Attorney <br />Terry A. Crone. The leases are similar to previous leases with <br />the addition of a termination clause which the Board had requested. <br />The leases are in the form of in -kind contributions in lieu of <br />rent in the amount of $10,118 per year for Station 7 and $25,792 <br />for Station 10. The lease period extends from November 1, 1977 <br />through October 31, 1979. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded <br />by Mr. Brunner and carried, the leases were approved. <br />ACCEPTANCE OF DEED FROM BENDIX CORPORATION - RIGHT OF WAY FOR <br />TURNING RADIUS IN CONJUNCTION WITH VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3442 <br />The Board had requested that the Bendix Corporation deed right-of-way, <br />to the City to provide a turning radius at the end of an alley_ <br />vacated by the Board under Vacation Resolution No. 3442. Robert <br />Michaud, Midwestern Regional Counsel for the Bendix Corporation, <br />submitted to the Board a Quitclaim Deed conveying to the City <br />a parcel of land forty-two feet by five feet to provide the necessary <br />turning radius. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. <br />Mullen and carried, the deed was accepted and will be recorded. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon <br />,motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, <br />the meeting adjourned at 10:30 p.m. <br />ATTEST: <br />t. <br />Patricia DeClercq, Clerk <br />
