REGULAR MEETING <br />NOVEMBER 14, 1977 <br />E. Removal of No Parking, revised to No Parking This Side, <br />North side of Bulla, from Portage to Anderson, at the site of <br />anew bank branch office. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, <br />seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the installation was <br />approved. <br />F. Removal of Yield Sign on Indiana Avenue, at alley at Vernon <br />Street. The alley is little used and barely passable. Upon <br />motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, <br />the removal was approved. <br />STREET LIGHT RECOMMENDATIONS APPROVED <br />The Bureau of Traffic and Lighting recommended the following street <br />light installations and removals: <br />Install: <br />Midblock 2300 Prast 7,000L MV $4.80/mo. <br />300 S. Walnut three 20,000L MV $6.28 x 3 20.46/mo. <br />Walnut & Western <br />Underpass Lighting <br />10 Fixtures 25,500L HPS 4.40 x 10 44.00/mo. <br />Total Increase $69.26 <br />Remove: <br />300 S. Walnut three 6,000L INC 4.72 x 3 $14.16 <br />Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, <br />the installation was approved. <br />APPROVAL OF CLAIMS <br />Michael L. Vance, Deputy City Controller, submitted to the Board <br />Claim Docket Numbers 19749 through 20338 and recommended they be <br />approved. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen <br />and carried, the Board approved Claim Docket Numbers 19749 through <br />20338 and directed that checks for payment be issued. <br />BOND APPROVED <br />Ray S. Andrysiak, Bureau of Engineering, reported to the Board that <br />a Contractor's Bond for the Ashland Petroleum Company had been <br />submitted and was in proper form and executed by the contractor <br />and the surety company. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded <br />by Mr. Mullen and carried, the b and was approved. <br />REPORT OF STREET DEPART14ENT CLEAN-UP CREW FOR OCTOBER FILED <br />The report of the Street Department Clean-up Crew for the month <br />of October was filed with the Board by Street Commissioner Joseph <br />Gawrysiak and Foreman Ed Nowak. The report indicated 99 properties <br />cleaned, 14 properties cleaned by owner, 13 environmental complaints <br />investigated and 96 loads taken to the dump. Upon motion made by <br />Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, the report was <br />filed. <br />r <br />
