028 REGULAR MEETING SEPTEMBER 12, 1977 TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICE APPROVED Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, recommended that the Board approve a thirty -minute parking limit, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., at 1410 E. Calvert Street, to provide turnover of parking for a business establishment. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the Board approved the recommendation. SIGNING OF TITLE SHEET - CREST MANOR SEWERS The title sheet approving the plans for the Crest Manor sewers,, authorized under Improvement Resolution No. 3449, was submitted to the Board by the Bureau of Design and Administration. Mr. McMahon noted this was a Barrett Law project and the public hearing was held last Monday and bid advertising approved. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, the Board signed the title sheet approving the plans. SIGNING OF TITLE SHEET AND BID ADVERTISING APPROVED - PROSPECT STREET SEWERS The title sheet approving the plans for the Prospect Drive sewers, authorized under Improvement Resolution No. 3447 was submitted to the Board along with a request to advertise for bids for the project. Mr. McMahon noted that this was a Barrett Law project and the public hearing was held on August 8. The first legal advertisement for bids was placed on Friday, September 9 so that bids could be received on September 19. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the Board signed the title sheet approving the plans and authorized the advertising for bids, with sealed bids to be received on Monday, September 19, 1977. CLAIMS APPROVED Michael L. Vance, City Auditor, submitted to Numbers 15745 through 16278 and recommended made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen approved Claim Docket Numbers 15745 through checks for payment be issued. STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT FILED the Board Claim Docket approval. Upon motion and carried, the Board 16278 and directed that The Street Light Outage Report for the period September 6 through 9 was received. The report indicated fourteen outages. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the report was filed. REQUEST FOR CURBS AND SIDEWALK WIDENING ON RIVERSIDE DRIVE FILED The Park Avenue Neighborhood Association submitted a letter to the Board requesting that consideration be given to construction of curbs and widening of the sidewalk on Riverside Drive at the Leeper Park Hill. The letter indicated that layers of pavement laid down and no curb have created a dangerous situation. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, the letter was filed and refered to the Division of Engineering for review and recommendation. LJ
