028 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 12, 1977 <br />TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICE APPROVED <br />Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, <br />recommended that the Board approve a thirty -minute parking limit, <br />from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., at 1410 E. Calvert Street, to provide <br />turnover of parking for a business establishment. Upon motion made <br />by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the Board approved <br />the recommendation. <br />SIGNING OF TITLE SHEET - CREST MANOR SEWERS <br />The title sheet approving the plans for the Crest Manor sewers,, <br />authorized under Improvement Resolution No. 3449, was submitted to <br />the Board by the Bureau of Design and Administration. <br />Mr. McMahon noted this was a Barrett Law project and the public <br />hearing was held last Monday and bid advertising approved. Upon <br />motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, the <br />Board signed the title sheet approving the plans. <br />SIGNING OF TITLE SHEET AND BID ADVERTISING APPROVED - PROSPECT <br />STREET SEWERS <br />The title sheet approving the plans for the Prospect Drive sewers, <br />authorized under Improvement Resolution No. 3447 was submitted to <br />the Board along with a request to advertise for bids for the project. <br />Mr. McMahon noted that this was a Barrett Law project and the public <br />hearing was held on August 8. The first legal advertisement for bids <br />was placed on Friday, September 9 so that bids could be received on <br />September 19. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. <br />Brunner and carried, the Board signed the title sheet approving the <br />plans and authorized the advertising for bids, with sealed bids to <br />be received on Monday, September 19, 1977. <br />CLAIMS APPROVED <br />Michael L. Vance, City Auditor, submitted to <br />Numbers 15745 through 16278 and recommended <br />made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen <br />approved Claim Docket Numbers 15745 through <br />checks for payment be issued. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT FILED <br />the Board Claim Docket <br />approval. Upon motion <br />and carried, the Board <br />16278 and directed that <br />The Street Light Outage Report for the period September 6 through <br />9 was received. The report indicated fourteen outages. Upon <br />motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, <br />the report was filed. <br />REQUEST FOR CURBS AND SIDEWALK WIDENING ON RIVERSIDE DRIVE FILED <br />The Park Avenue Neighborhood Association submitted a letter to <br />the Board requesting that consideration be given to construction <br />of curbs and widening of the sidewalk on Riverside Drive at the <br />Leeper Park Hill. The letter indicated that layers of pavement <br />laid down and no curb have created a dangerous situation. Upon <br />motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, the <br />letter was filed and refered to the Division of Engineering for <br />review and recommendation. <br />LJ <br />
