REGULAR MEETING MAY.2, 1977 WHEREAS, the Board of Public.Works has the authority to make such improverents as provided by the General Assembly, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Public Works orders the Department of Public Works to prepare the plans, specifications, cost estimates, secure the necessary right-of-way by gift, fee or condemnation, permits, appropriations, and to see]: bids for and to construct said improvements on Ironwood Drive. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 9 ADOPTED Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the following resolution was adopted: RESOLUTION NO. 9. 1977 WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works has found it necessary in the best interest of the public safety and welfare to construct certain street improvements on Riverside_Drive, from Northview Drive southerly for approximately 1,000 feet, and WHEREAS, the cost for these improvements are to be financed from Local Roads and Streets and Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund, and WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works has the authority to make such improvements as provided by the General Assembly, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Public Works orders the Department of Public Works to prepare the plans, specifications, cost estimate, permits, appropriations, and to seek bids for and to construct said street improvements on Riverside Drive.
