REGULAR MEETING MARCH 7, 1977 <br />PIIERICA14 DIABETES ASSOCIATION> BIKE-A-THON REQUEST FILED <br />The Board received a request from the American Diabetes Association <br />to hold their annual Bike-A-Thon on Sunday, October 2, 1977. <br />The request was filed in compliance with the Board guidelines <br />which require six months advance notice for such events. Upon <br />motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, <br />the request was filed and the date reserved, with the request <br />to be referred to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, the Civil <br />Defense Department and the Police Department Traffic Detail for <br />review and recommendation. <br />PAYMENT SMRIARY FOR CENTURY CENTER FILED <br />The Board received payment summaries for Century Center payments <br />for November and December, 1976. The November summary indicated <br />payment of $248,371.37 and the December summary showed payments <br />of $1921539.26. Total payments to date are $3,629,078.09. <br />Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and <br />carried, the.payrient summaries were filed. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT FILED <br />The Street Light Outage report for the period of February 28 <br />through March 4 was submitted to the Board. The report indicated <br />56 outages. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner <br />and carried, the report was ordered filed. <br />CLAIMS APPROVED <br />Walter F. Lantz, Depute City Controller, and Michael L. Vance, <br />City Auditor, submitted to the Board claim docket numbers <br />3420 through 3723 and recommended their approval. Upon motion made <br />by Mr_ McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the Board <br />approved the claims and directed that checks for payment be issued. <br />REPORT ON SPEED LIMIT SIGNS ON FELLOWS STREET <br />Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, <br />submitted to the Board a report that the 20 mile speed limit <br />signs on Fellows Street, between Donraoyer and Chippewa, have been <br />installed.
