M r� 1 LI REGULAR MEETING JANUARY 24, 1977 CENTURY CENTER CHANGE ORDERS -APPROVED Patrick 11. McMahon submitted to the Board change orders in Century Center contracts in the amount of $5,905.00. The Change Orders were as follows: Contract 003 Concrete - An addition of $246.00 for the installation of styrofoam insulation to protect underfloor duct work. Contract 004 - Concrete, Masonry and Carpentry An addition of $2,555.00 for the construction of a spiral staircase in the theatre area. A deduction of $15.00 reflecting miscellaneous concrete and masonry adjustments. Contract 005 - Structural Steel. An addition of $195.00, reflecting an adjustment in miscellaneous structural steel details to accommodate building utilities. Contract 017 - Roll -up Grills. An addition of $195.00, reflecting a dimensional modification of the roll -up grills located in the Art Wing. Contract 039 - Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning. An addition of $106.00, reflecting a minor- modification to the thermostatic controls of certain heaters. Contract 040 - Plumbing. An addition of $2,458.00, for the installation of two-inch insulation on the sanitary drain lines beneath the Art Center. Contract 041 - Plumbing. An addition of $513.00 and a deduction of $348.00. This net change of $165.00 results from the modification of the gas line entering and servicing the Art Center Wing of Century Center. Mr. McMahon said the total anount paid -contractors on Century Center to date is $189,954.26 and the balance in the contingency fund is $60,000.00. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the Board approved the Century Center change orders.
