E <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />JANUARY 24, 1977 <br />Reserving the rights and easements of all utilities and the Municipal <br />City of South Bend, Indiana to construct and maintain any facilities, <br />including, but not limited to,.the following: electric, telephone, <br />gas, water, sewer, surface water control structures and ditches within <br />the vacated right-of-way unless such rights are released by the <br />individual Utilities. <br />The following property may be injuriously or beneficially affected by <br />such vacation: Lots 60 and 61 Roseland Park Addition. <br />The Board finds that each .of said lots have been benefited in the <br />amount of $0.00 and damaged in the amount of $0.00. <br />Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, <br />the Board filed the Assessment Poll and set February 28, 1977 at <br />9:30 a.m, as the time and the Board of Public Works Hearing Room as <br />the place where all persons interested in or affected by this Assess - <br />ment Poll can be heard. <br />APPROVAL OF CONTRACT WITH MENTAL HEALTH CENTER <br />A contract between the City of South Bend and the Mental Health <br />Center was submitted to the Board. The contract has been approved by <br />the Mental Health Center. Deputy City Attorney Georgia Luks reviewed <br />the contract and approved it as to form and legality. She advised <br />the Board that the contract provides for monthly paynents to be made <br />to the Mental Health Center for services rendered. The Center will <br />make appropriate reports to the City. Joseph Stephens and Theresa <br />Tyler, of the Mental Health Center, were present. Mr. Stephens said <br />the contract provides for services at DeLos House for therapeutic <br />services for drug abusers who are residents of the City of South <br />Bend. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and <br />carried, the contract was approved, subject to the approval of the <br />fund appropriation, in an amount not to exceed $50,000. <br />SIGNING OF TITLE :SBEET - HECKAMAN' S REPLAT <br />The title sheet approving the plans for Heckar_ian's Replat for <br />Dorwood Drive from the West line of Ridgewood Addition, Section B <br />was submitted to the Board by the Bureau of Design and Administration. <br />This project will be constructed by a private developer, with City <br />inspection. Upon motion made by Mr. TZcMahon, seconded by TZr. Brunner <br />and carried, the title sheet approving the plans was signed. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS APPROVED - BUREAU OF TRAFFIC AND LIGHTING <br />Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, <br />submitted to the Board the following recor.mendations for traffic <br />control devices: <br />A. No Parking, south side of Oakside, from Michigan to Fellows. <br />B. No Parking, north side of Haney, from Miami east to Raymond Ct. <br />C. No Parking on Calvert Street, both sides, from Lafayette to <br />the alley east of Michigan, excluding indented parking area <br />immediately west of Main Street; and on the south side from <br />the alley east of Michigan to High Street. <br />D. No Parking on Ford Street, from Kosciuszko east to Arnold on <br />the north side and east to the alley east of the railroad <br />crossing on the south side. <br />E. No Parking, north side of Grace Street, from Arnold west to <br />the alley west of Webster. <br />F. No Parking, both sides of 100 W. Oakside <br />G. Yield Sign on Fredrickson at Bendix <br />H. One Hour Parking Zone, 6 a.m, to 6 p.m., 111 W. Bartlett <br />I. Stop Sign on Longley at Bendix <br />J. Stop Sign on: -Roger at Bendix <br />K.
