E REGULAR MEETING JANUARY 24, 1977 Reserving the rights and easements of all utilities and the Municipal City of South Bend, Indiana to construct and maintain any facilities, including, but not limited to,.the following: electric, telephone, gas, water, sewer, surface water control structures and ditches within the vacated right-of-way unless such rights are released by the individual Utilities. The following property may be injuriously or beneficially affected by such vacation: Lots 60 and 61 Roseland Park Addition. The Board finds that each .of said lots have been benefited in the amount of $0.00 and damaged in the amount of $0.00. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the Board filed the Assessment Poll and set February 28, 1977 at 9:30 a.m, as the time and the Board of Public Works Hearing Room as the place where all persons interested in or affected by this Assess - ment Poll can be heard. APPROVAL OF CONTRACT WITH MENTAL HEALTH CENTER A contract between the City of South Bend and the Mental Health Center was submitted to the Board. The contract has been approved by the Mental Health Center. Deputy City Attorney Georgia Luks reviewed the contract and approved it as to form and legality. She advised the Board that the contract provides for monthly paynents to be made to the Mental Health Center for services rendered. The Center will make appropriate reports to the City. Joseph Stephens and Theresa Tyler, of the Mental Health Center, were present. Mr. Stephens said the contract provides for services at DeLos House for therapeutic services for drug abusers who are residents of the City of South Bend. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, the contract was approved, subject to the approval of the fund appropriation, in an amount not to exceed $50,000. SIGNING OF TITLE :SBEET - HECKAMAN' S REPLAT The title sheet approving the plans for Heckar_ian's Replat for Dorwood Drive from the West line of Ridgewood Addition, Section B was submitted to the Board by the Bureau of Design and Administration. This project will be constructed by a private developer, with City inspection. Upon motion made by Mr. TZcMahon, seconded by TZr. Brunner and carried, the title sheet approving the plans was signed. RECOMMENDATIONS APPROVED - BUREAU OF TRAFFIC AND LIGHTING Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, submitted to the Board the following recor.mendations for traffic control devices: A. No Parking, south side of Oakside, from Michigan to Fellows. B. No Parking, north side of Haney, from Miami east to Raymond Ct. C. No Parking on Calvert Street, both sides, from Lafayette to the alley east of Michigan, excluding indented parking area immediately west of Main Street; and on the south side from the alley east of Michigan to High Street. D. No Parking on Ford Street, from Kosciuszko east to Arnold on the north side and east to the alley east of the railroad crossing on the south side. E. No Parking, north side of Grace Street, from Arnold west to the alley west of Webster. F. No Parking, both sides of 100 W. Oakside G. Yield Sign on Fredrickson at Bendix H. One Hour Parking Zone, 6 a.m, to 6 p.m., 111 W. Bartlett I. Stop Sign on Longley at Bendix J. Stop Sign on: -Roger at Bendix K. Stop Sign on Eclipse at Westmoor, Northwest Corner 1
