REGULAR MEETING <br />NOVEMBER 8, 1976 <br />FILING OF CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE ZIOLKOWSKI CONSTRUCTION CO. <br />A Certificate of Insurance for Ziolkowski Construction Company was <br />submitted to the Board and reviewed by Deputy City Attorney <br />Georgia Luks, who recommended.that the certificate be filed. Upon <br />motion made by Mr. Farrand, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, <br />the certificate was filed with the Board. <br />PURCHASE AGREEMENT APPROVED - SALE OF 1221 GRACE STREET <br />A purchase agreement for the sale of a city-owned.lot at 1221 Grace <br />Street was prepared by Deputy City Attorney Georgia Luks.and <br />submitted to the prospective purchaser, Chester Muszynski, for his <br />approval. The agreement calls for a total purchase price of $575.00 <br />for the lot. Upon motion made by Mr. Farrand, seconded by Mr. Mullen <br />and carried, the purchase agreement was approved and the City <br />Attorney's office will be requested to prepare a deed to the property. <br />CONTRACT - KALEY STREET CURB A14D SIDEWALK <br />A contract with Rieth-Riley Construction Company for the construction <br />of curb and sidewalk on Kaley Street, from Western Avenue to Huron <br />Street, was submitted. The Board had accepted the proposal from <br />RiethRiley.and.the total amount of the contract is $10,625. Upon <br />motion r_iade by Mr. Farrand, seconded by TTr. Mullen and carried, the <br />contract was approved and signed by the Board subject.to.the con- <br />tractor signing -the agreement, <br />CLAIMS APPROVED <br />Deputy City Controller Walter_ Lantz and City Auditor Michael Vance <br />subr.7itted to the Board Claims, Docket Numbers 16156 through 16536, <br />and recoranended that they be approved for payment. Upon motion made <br />by Mr. Farrand, seconded by Mr. Ifullen and carried, the Board <br />approved the payment of claims and directed that checks be issued. <br />RELEASE OF B014D APPROVED - WALSH & KE= <br />Raymond S. Andrysiak, Bureau of Engineering, reported to the Board <br />that a request to release the contractor's bond of ��alsh and Kelly <br />had been received. Mr. Andrysiak reviewed the bond and noted no <br />outstanding pernits or claims and he recoriended release. Upon <br />notion nade by Mr. Farrand, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, <br />the report was ordered filed. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT FILED <br />The Street Light Outage Report for the period of November 1 through <br />5 was received. The report indicated seven outages. Upon notion <br />made by Mr. Farrand, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the <br />report was ordered filed. <br />RIVER BEND PLAZA APPLICATIONS APPROVED CONDITIONALLY <br />Ronald Bock, Director of fiver Bend Plaza, submitted to the Board <br />applications for the Holiday Festival on Novenber 20 with his <br />favorable recommendation as follows: <br />A. Calvary Pentecostal Church - Food Booth <br />B. Zoological Society - Animal Display <br />Upon motion rude by Mr. Farrand, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, <br />the applications were approved subject to the filing of the necessary <br />insurance certificates and purchase of vending licenses where <br />applicable. <br />11 <br />
