REGULAR MEETING NOVEMBER 1, 1976 <br />n <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at <br />9:30 a.r_i, on 1"Ionday, November 1, 1976 by President Rollin Farrand <br />with Mr.. Farrand, Mr. Brunner and Mr. 11ul len present. Deputy <br />City Attorney Georgia Luks was also present. <br />MINUTES OF REGULAR AND SPECIAL MEETING APPROVED <br />Mr. Farrand reported that the minutes of the October 25 meeting <br />of the Board had been reviewed and he made a motion that the minutes <br />be approved as submitted. Mr. Brunner seconded the notion and it <br />carried. Mr. Farrand then noted that a special meeting of the <br />Board was convened on October 28, 1976 to open proposals sought from <br />contractors for the Y.aley Street Curb and Sidewalk repair. <br />Mr. Farrand said those minutes had been reviewed and he made a motion <br />that they be approved as submitted. Mr. Brunner seconded the motion <br />and it carried. <br />OPENING OF BIDS BODY AMIOR FOR BUREAU OF POLICE <br />This was the date set for receiving bids for body armor for the <br />Bureau of Police. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of <br />notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News, which <br />were found to be sufficient.
