41'7 REGULAR MEETING APPROVE SPORTSMED 10K ROAD RUN SEPTEMBER: 20, '1982 Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the Sportsmed 10K Road Run scheduled for November 7., 1982, sponsored by the St. Joseph Medical Center; was approved subject to the following: 1. The race participants will gather in the southwest corner of the Century Center parking lot and, five minutes prior to the start of the race, transfer to Wayne Street immediately east of St. Joseph where the race will start. 2. St, Louis Boulevard from Jefferson Boulevard to, and at the officer's discretion, Notre Dame Avenue will be closed during the race. 3. Northside Boulevard will be used to Greenlawn since the roadway is now open under the Twyckenham Bridge. 4. As a possible alternative to make up distance lost due to rerouting, Notre Dame Avenue from Northside Boulevard to Wayne Street and Wayne Street from Notre Dame Avenue to St. Louis Boulevard may be used for the finish of the race. 5. Traffic on Mishawaka Avenue east and west of Greenlawn will be delayed or prohibited by officer's discretion during the actual footrace. APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATION Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the application of the South Bend Quality Inn Receiver- ship for a Public Parking License was approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for issuance. APPROVE CONTRACTORS' BONDS Mr. Ray Andrysiak recommended approval of the following Contractors' Bonds: Jose Garza (Retroactive to September 15, 1982) Jeffrey Fadden (Retroactive to September 15, 1982) Indiana Building Constructors (Effective September 20, 1982) Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above Contractors' Bonds were approved as recommended, APPROVE HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMITS Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr, Hill and carried, the following handicapped parking permits were approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for issuance: Mrs. Irma Brenneman, 1901 E. Calvert, S.B. Frank H. O'Donnell, 122 E. Angela, S.B. Alice DeFauw, 125 S. Charles H. J. Shirk, 1347 Randolph, S.B. Arthur Durham, 1137 Haney, S.B, FILING OF CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the Certificate of Insurance for Hunziker's, Inc. was filed.
